This was my first trip to Cabo and my boyfriend and I stayed at the Rose' and LOVED it!! I would consider myself a hotel snob, and I was very impressed with the amenities, service, level of cleanliness and the overall ambience of the resort. It was spotless and the service was impeccable. The Spa is amazing as was the gym, and there were no complaints out of me other than the fact that there are not a bathtubs in any of the rooms. If you are under 30 (like myself), the timeshare salespeople won't even look at you, so you don't have to worry about being bothered AT ALL!!! The hotel is definitely within walking distance to downtown, and you can walk next door to the Blanco and use the facilities there (although it is not nearly as nice as the Rose') The pool is huge and really nice. The food is just "okay" at the hotel, but there are plenty of places to eat in town, etc., so it really wasn't a big deal. The beachout front is really nice and VERY clean, and there are ropes to keep the vendors from bothering you too much.
Overall, I was ver impressed with this notel and would definitely go back there again. Also, we went to the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach (it's on the Pacific side) and although it is still in construction (about 1/2 complete), it is incredible and would love to stay there the next time I am in Cabo.
