“Always fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2014

We go here EVERY time we are in Cabo. It is a fun place but not too crazy. The drinks are really good. They do not water them down at all. The staff is very friendly and is willing to help you with anything you need. There is free wi-fi as well as beer pong tables! If you go around lunch time there is a man there that does the most awesome card tricks. Very entertaining! I was there with my friends for my wedding week and everyone had a great time!

sandyloo117 from Anchorage, Alaska:

Thank you very much for writing such a wonderful review about Happy Ending and for rating it with "5-Stars." I'm happy that you always had such a fun time when you visited that you named your review “Always Fun!” That's great!

You're very fortunate to live in Anchorage, one of the most spectacular and beautiful cities in Alaska, in one of the most spectacular states in the entire USA. Anchorage is officially called the "Municipality of Anchorage." "Anchorage" means "a place suitable for anchoring a ship." In 1867, U. S. Secretary of State William H. Seward, brokered a deal to purchase Alaska from Imperial Russia for $7.2 million...about two cents an acre. In 1888, gold was discovered in Alaska and in 1912, Alaska became a United States territory. In 1915, Anchorage was founded as the construction headquarters for the Alaska Railroad. Alaska officially became a U.S. State in 1959. In 1964, Anchorage was hit by a magnitude 9.2 earthquake, the world's second largest ever recorded! It lasted nearly five minutes. Anchorage has been named an "All-America City" four times and has also been named as "the most tax friendly city" in the United States.

Thank you for always visiting Happy Ending Cantina every time you're in Cabo San Lucas. Thank you for describing Happy Ending as a "fun place," "not too crazy," with "really good drinks," a "very friendly staff," and a place where everyone has "a great time."

I really appreciate that you brought you friends to Happy Ending so many times during the week of your wedding. That really makes Happy Ending a very special place for you. I hope you and your spouse can return to celebrate all your future anniversaries at Happy Ending!

I appreciate you enjoyed our drinks and wrote that they are never watered down. Happy Ending NEVER "waters down" any drink and we NEVER refill premium bottles of alcohol with cheap brands....NEVER!

It's great that you took advantage of our free high speed WiFi while you visited. We also provide free long distance phone calls to more than 60 countries to anyone who wishes to place a call.

I agree that Samuel, Happy Ending's Master Magician, performs "the most awesome card tricks." He's the best close-up Magician I've ever seen. He can usually be seen performing his magic at Happy Ending from the early afternoons to the early evenings.

Best wishes for having lots of "Always Fun" Happy Endings to all your hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might find you.

Gene, "El Jefe," Happy Ending Cantina, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Heard that this was the place to go, and it definitely was. Food was great, beer the coldest in cabo, and meeting Gene was a treat. we came back 3 times during our stay. Wish the hell we had the same bar in central California. We had a great time.

clattski from Coalinga, California:

Thank you very much for writing your very first Trip Advisor review about Happy Ending Cantina. I hope you continue to write many more reviews about other establishments in the future. I like the name you gave your review, "Happy Ending for First Time Visitors" as well as all the really nice comments and great recommendations you wrote. Thank you for giving your review Trip Advisor's highest "5-Star" rating.

You live in Coalinga, a historic and very beautiful, family orientated "small town" in California's Central Valley. In the early years of railroading, steam locomotives were powered by the burning of coal. In 1888, the present site of Coalinga was established by the Southern Pacific Transportation Company as a coaling station that the company named simply "Coaling Station A." Small railroad signs in that era abbreviated "Coaling Station A" to read simply "Coalinga." This came about by removing the word "Station" and adding the letter "A" to "Coaling." Local residents began calling the area "COALINGA" and the name still survives today. In 1899, the first Coalinga post office was established. In 1906, the town of Coalinga was incorporated.

It was my honor to meet you both and be able to spend quality time getting to know you better. Thank you so very much for repeatedly returning to Happy Ending during your Cabo San Lucas vacation. I hope you can find the free time and the means to return again soon.

Thanks for describing Happy Ending's food as "great," and the beer as "the coldest in Cabo." Our 4 full time chefs prepare some of the most delicious food you'll find in Cabo. Our inexpensively priced food is always served in very generous portions. Many of our customers frequently return to try other food selections. Our kitchen is open from 10:00 am until around 3:00 am everyday. Happy Ending's beer is definitely "the coldest in Cabo." We only serve our $2 ice cold bottles of Corona, Corona Light, Pacifico or Pacifico Light, and the rest of our beer brands, until after it's cooled down to minus 3.5 degrees centigrade. Our beer is so cold is just might be the coldest beer you'll ever drink in you life!

Best wishes for having lots of "First Time" type of Happy Endings to all your endeavors, hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might take you.

Gene, "El Jefe," Happy Ending Cantina, Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico.

LaboColonia_NJ from Colonia, New Jersey:

You've been designated a Trip Advisor "Senior Contributor" because you've written 25 reviews about establishments you've visited. Thank you for all the nice comments and wonderful recommendation you wrote about Happy Ending Cantina and for giving your review the highest "5-Star" rating. Thank you for naming your review "Fun Place, Great Drinks!!"

You live in the beautiful and historic community of Colonia. The area around Colonia was first known Houghtenville from at least the mid-1600s. In 1666, Daniel Pierce and his family were the first settlers in Houghtenville when they moved there from Newbury, Massachusetts. Other families from Newbury soon settled in the area. In the 1890s, a unique planned community, named the "Colony," was formed in Houghtenville. In 1894, the Cones family renamed the "Colony" to "Colonia." Colonia is now an unincorporated community within Woodbridge Township, in Middlesex County. There are still many beautiful historic homes and landmarks preserved in wonderful Colonia.

I'm very pleased that you stopped in for "one afternoon drink" and ended up staying for several of our famous "tasty" Margaritas.

Thank you for describing Happy Ending as having a "great atmosphere," for being a "very cool place to hang out" and for recommending others to "stop in, you'll enjoy it!"

The entire crew and I are eager to spend more time with you the next time you visit Happy Ending. We all hope you can make it soon.

Best wishes for having lots of "Fun & Great" type of Happy Endings to all your hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might find you.

“I don't think you can find a better special.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

$5 gets you two shots, and two beers. I really don't think that you can find a bigger bang for your buck. The atmosphere is very fun and they have tables set up in the back if you want to play pong. The owner is actually a very funny guy and is in there most night. You have to stop by here at least once on your trip!

Shane B from Panama City Beach, Florida:

Because you've written 18 reviews, Trip Advisor has given you the title "Contributor." Thank you for writing such nice comments and great recommendations about Happy Ending Cantina. Thank you for naming your review "I Don't Think You Can Find a Better Special.” I really appreciate you gave your review Trip Advisor's highest "5-Star" rating.

You're fortunate to live in beautiful Panama City Beach. Your home town is often referred to as "Panama City", despite being a distinct municipality from the older and larger inland Panama City to the east. Panama City and Panama City Beach are two separate cities. The original name for "Panama City" was "Harrison." Developer George Mortimer West, named it "Panama City" because it was on a direct line between Chicago and Panama City, Panama, in Central America. The name change took place during the building of the Panama Canal, as a way to link the area to an ongoing media interest, in hopes of promoting real estate development in Bay County. The city of "Panama City Beach" later borrowed its name from its famous neighbor, "Panama City." Panama City Beach's slogan is "The World's Most Beautiful Beaches" due to its beautiful unique sugar-white sandy beaches.

You wrote about our world famous "Promo" that consists of 2 ice cold bottles of Corona, Corona Light, Pacifico or Pacifico Light AND 2 double shots of our super-smooth tequila....that is always priced at only $5....for ALL 4 drinks! And "always" means just that....today, tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month and next year, 365 & 24/7...."ALWAYS!" It's the best deal in the history of mankind!

I appreciate you enjoyed our "very fun atmosphere" and the fact we always have at least 8 full size Beer Pong tables set up and available for play when we're open. Happy Ending is the Official Headquarters of the Baja Division of the Mexican Beer Pong League and the only bar in Cabo that offers Beer Pong.

Thank you for recommending others to "stop by here at least once on your trip!"

Best wishes for having lots of "Better & Better" type of Happy Endings to all your hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might take you.

“Something for everyone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2014

Great customer service, drink options, and activities. From the tic tac toe shot girl to the beer pong to the owner who takes the time to truly talk to patrons about their experience-this place has something for everyone. A real bar experience without trying to be disneyland for grownups pretending to be decades younger than they are.

Timbeach3:

Thank you for writing such a wonderful review about Happy Ending. It's truly one of the nicest we've ever received. Thank you for naming it "Something for Everyone." Your comments and opinions are very important especially since you've written so many reviews that Trip Advisor has designed you to be a "Senior Contributor."

Thank you very much for describing Happy Ending as having "great customer service, drink options and activities" and for being a "place that has something for everyone." This is exactly what Happy Ending strives to provide for every customer.

I'm really pleased that you enjoyed our beautiful Jello Shot girl who plays Tic-Tac-Toe with our customers. When she looses she gives the winner a free Jello Shot! And she does lose....but not too often! I think many players are too distracted looking at her rather than paying attention to the game at hand!

Thanks for mentioning our "Beer Pong tables" in your review. Happy Ending always has at least 8 regulation size Beer Pong table set up and ready for play. During Spring Break we set up all 18 tables to accommodate a maximum of 72 players at any given time.

I appreciate all the nice comments you wrote about me personally. It was my honor to spend time with you. I attempt to meet every customer who visits Happy Ending, especially since we attract the BEST customers in the world!

Please try and return to Happy Ending as soon as you can find the time and means to do so.

Best wishes for having lots of "Something for Everyone" type of Happy Endings to all your endeavors, hopes and dreams wherever life's journeys might find you.
