“Great food in a casual local atmoshpere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

The food and very causal local feel were a great combination. We shared a seafood platter that was excellent, Roaming musicians made us feel that we were actually in Mexico. Less adventurous members of our party were on the edge of their comfort zones.

“Now a favorite!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Restaurant is close to bus stop. Just a short 3-4 block walk. Love the atmosphere of a local restaurant. Waiters were friendly and very helpful. Sat by the kitchen and enjoyed watching our food prepared. Menu made it hard to decide what we wanted. We ended up ordering: Coconut Shrimp-Garlic Butter Shrimp-and Las Tres Shrimp! All three of us were very happy with our choices and since we always share-were happy with the other choices too! Margaritas were great. We always get a coupon for a welcome drink from the Villa Group information booth and ordered additional margaritas also!! Happy relaxed night.

“Great people serving great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

This local seafood restaurant is a Cabo great. Locals and visitors enjoy seafood cooked to order
In a casual spot on a side street, not far from the shopping Mall. Try their sea bass or large shrimp.
You will be served quickly and by a friendly server. A fun night and very reasonable.

“Very Local, Very Good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

The food at Tres Islas is very, very good. We had the Shrimp Ceviche and it was outstanding, highly recommended. They serve several salsas with the meal but the best is the smoked tomato salsa. Just the right amount of pepper and smoke - very good. For dinner we had the Tres Islas shrimp and the Sea Bass (catch of the day) with poblano sauce. They were some of the best entrees we have had in Cabo. You won't find a lot of atmosphere but the staff is friendly, helpful and on the ball. One of the best meals in Cabo!

“Fast service, Great Staff- food was perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

After a few people told us about Mariscos Las Tres Islas, we made it their on our last night. We had shrimp ceviche- excellent, imperial shrimp (cheese stuffed large shrimp wrapped in bacon)- very good but too rich, and breaded fried shrimp- very good. My daughter had a clam and an oyster- she said they were very fresh and they were huge. We each had at least one drink and we left only spending $60 including a generous tip. When I asked about a marlin dip appetizer, the waiter brought me a bowl to sample. My daughter developed hiccups while we were there and the wait staff gave her their home remedy of limes and Amaretto- cured! I will return on our next trip. I do need to say that we did not have one bad meal in Cabo, the worst was at our hotel- but still very good.
