The food was just ok - appetizers and salads were quite good. I especially liked the bruschetta as the tomatoes were very tasty and fresh. I had the fish special which was fresh halibut. It was good but over sauced. My husband also had the fish but opted for it grilled and it was a preferable preparation. This latter option was actually suggested by the very knowledgable and excellent waiter. The service was terrific - friendly and solicitous but not over bearing. The owner was a character. Part way through our dinner the live background music became a little show off concert with the owner, in full flashy chef's get up, singing a bunch of Italian songs with a full throated warble and flirting outrageously with the female guests. It was pretty hilarious and fun.
