“Fresh, Value, service, we had it all”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013 via mobile

The ladies welcomed us and gave my me, my wife and two teenage daughters the best seat in the house. The chowder, mussels , fish and even the fries were very fresh and portions large. Even our wine glasses were filled to the rim. The prices were great too. My daughters typically don't eat much but their plates were emptied tonight even with the larger portions. After dinner we even had a glass of wine on the bluff over the ocean as the sun went down. A dinner experience that everyone can enjoy.

“Fast and Hot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

Pretty ample menu, fast service, and friendly folk. You don't even need to leave the hotel property to be well fed and satisfied. They also loaned us a corkscrew so we could enjoy our own wine in our room on the property.

“Fantastic Hamburger...Locally recommended”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

My friend and I were looking for a "great" place for a Hamburger...and the "First Mate" of the Whale Watching Tour recommended this place.

Location - Pleasant Bay, right on the Cabot Trail. Easy to spot as the Motel is Pink and Blue. It is a basic restaurant.

Food - we were both craving a good hamburger, and that is what we got. Real meat, hand pressed hamburger and fries. It was nice and tasty. Nothing special about the fries - but a very good portion.

Service - our server was pleasant. Was prompt. The food came quickly.

We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend this restaurant for a stop along the Cabot Trail.

“Really good food at a decent price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

We had the delicious hot turkey sandwiches. They are made with real turkey and are on home-made bread from the Aucoin Bakery in Chedicamp. It came hot and was truly delicious with large portion of fries and great cole slaw. We also had the MidTrail Salad which was perfect for sharing.

It really was truly affordable and better prices that places nearby. Don't be put off by the pink paint! There is also a great viewpoint on the property looking out to the sea and friendly humming birds come to feeders on the window. The person who greeted us, seated us, served and looked after us was wonderful. And she checked in guests to the motel at the same time. Impressive. Really good value and we left satisfied and happy. Would recommend it to others.
