The climb from the fields up to the caves is, thankfully, well prepared and safe. Inside is not exactly impressive but it does display yet another part of the tragedy of what many still think of as a totally useless 'war.'
There are some young men who try to pass themselves as guides to escort you to a nearby cave. They did not impress. The young girl who accompanied us into the dark, first set of caves, was cute and a bit helpful.
Bring a torch - the footing can be damaging to the ankles.
