We happened to "find" this beautiful little town by chance. Wanting to have lunch somewhere scenic on our way up from Llaneris, we drove off the main A-road hoping to find somewhere quiet and unspoilt. Were happy to find a large, free car park by the beach, with stunning views out to the sea, and the mountains as the backdrop to the town. We had perched ourselves on the promenade wall - and enjoyed having our lunch in the warm sunshine and the cooling breeze.
We were there in the first week of July 2013 - and the absence of tourists made it possible to truly experience the serenity and beauty of the place.
One of Wales' hidden gems!
