Nestled away from the madding crowds of central San Miguel de Allende, El Rinconcito is a small, quiet, attractive, family run refuge where one can enjoy a really good repast in a (bilingual) family setting.
While many other such restaurants sprout and disappear in this town, the Rinconcito owes its success to reliability and a high standard of good food. Menu choices (Mexican/American) are few and not fancy, but a tourist can walk away happy in the knowledge that it wasn't this establishment that caused their stomach upset. The proof of the food quality is that they have long enjoyed a local patronage, regulars who have frequented the establishment for many years.
A five minute ride from the center of town, they'll call you a Taxi when you want to return.
My teenage son says it's the best hamburger in town.
