Spent a week at Casa de la Cuesta in July. Bill and Heidi first rate hosts. From the initial on line request, they handled transportation from Leon for me, to their parting gift of a beautiful cd, their attention to detail was faultless. My room had a great balcony and views of city and hills above. Could walk down to plaza in 10 minutes. They arranged for us to tour local pyramid site with a great local guide and their knowledge of the area is extensive. The coffee was delicious, the food at breakfast traditional and excellent. The hacienda is beautiful, lots of patios, birds, hummingbirds and an incredible mask museum. We toured it and Heidi gave us an interesting tour of her folk art museum. They can even arrange a massage for you at their massage room in a beautiful patio. Can't say enough and can't wait to go back next year.
