Was walking along Correo looking for another bar restaurant, when I discovered Socialitte. The mate'd/owner was at the door and showed me the menu. It looked really good. So I went in. He showed me the whole restaurant, all 3 levels. Anyway I sat at a nice table near the window overlooking the street. Water was poured and a bruschetta was put on the table by the attentive wait staff. And of course olive oil . Did I say this is an Italian restaurant?
I ordered very small clams in white wine, garlic, broth with spaghetti. I used every bit of the Italian bread that came with it to soak up the broth. Needless to say I loved it. I also had a glass of Pinot Grigio with it.
Being a dessert person I had to have the chocolate pastry. It was really good. Of course some good Italian brewed coffee accompanied it. My water glass was filled all the time and a second cup of coffee was gratis.
I really liked every part of my meal and the service was impeccable. I will definitely try it again before I leave.
