“Love the fajitas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013 via mobile

We have enjoyed Los Miagros on several occasions with friends and this time was, as expected, another terrific evening. The attentive service staff was exceptional as always. After a round of drinks, we decided to try a platter of (beef) fajitas instead of the usual volcano of peppers, chicken and vegetables. The fajitas were served sizzling hot accompanied by grilled onions, peppers, refried beans, salsa and tortillas. They were absolutely delicious and plentiful. The only disappointment was that we were there too early for the live band starting at 9:30. Whenever in the mood for fajitas, this is the place to go, until of course, some friend suggests a better place.

“Fun. Delicious. Good mix locals and visitors.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013 via mobile

This restaurant was recommended by some locals. It has a great location right near the jardin. Food was very very tasty and fresh fresh fresh. Service was superb. Very casual place and when we went had some nice music and dancing. This was a Friday night around 10 PM.

“Delicious food! Good music & service. Atmosphere is ok.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

I love the food here, everything is fresh and the portions of food and drinks are very genorious. Service is very good, the staff is friendly.
My only complaint would be that the walls are painted an ugly color and could very much used to be redecorated, the atmosphere doesn't match the quality of the food.
I would still highly recommend this restaurant! Yummy!!

“When in Mexico - Eat Regionally”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2013

Milargros has a very broad and ecclectic menu featuring a number of salads, sandwiches, and Mexican dishes. You can find the usual quesadillas and burritos but I would recommend you try one of the more traditional regional dishes of Guanajuato. My favorite of these would be the enchiladas Mexicana - locally known as enchiladas mineras, named after the miners who worked the silver mines around this area. These are rich vegetarian enchiladas made with carrots and cheese, potatoes and avocado and served with a 1/4 chicken. Another traditional dish, arrachera, is served very nontraditional as a "volcano bowl" very theatrical and very delicioso! There is also an excellent bar with a wide variety of wine, beer and the ever popular margaritas. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. If you have a request or question they are right there for you.

If you schedule permits, go to Milagros on a Saturday or Sunday so you can enjoy the dual guitars of Jack and Frances. They have a dazzling repertory from the classical Rodrigo through the Beatles and Eric Clapton and everything in between, including some hauntingly beautiful compositions of their own. It adds another level of pleasure to the dining experience to hear them play.

This is a large typical Mexican restaurant right off the square on Relox street. They have good
quesadillas, enchiladas, and guacamole . The music was fabulous!!! We ate at 8:00PM on
Saturday . We stayed til 11:30 PM listening to incredible music. Lots of locals eat here. Mmthe food is very good. The prices are reasonable. The staff is very friendly.
