“It was just GREAT !!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2010

I was looking for some days to find a stay for us, 2 adults, 2 youth, 1 child, but it was everywhere too expensive for us. And then I found Beaver Creek West Condos. To my surprise different sites offeres complete different prices. Direct on the site of Beaver Creek West Condos http://www.beavercreekwest.com I could find a great price and could safe more then 500 $ than the same condos on others internet sites.

We stayed in O2 and it was just great !!!! It was very cozy, comfortable, spacious, nice. The Kitchen equipment could be better. It was just small frying pen and we couldnt use it for 5 people, specially 2 teenager boys. So we went to Walmart (2 km to drive) and bought two pens, then we could cook every day. Also I wish the bathroom, special the rug, could be cleaned better, I could see somebodys hair on it.

Close to the condos is busstop and goes 3 times an hour, so we didnt have to wait. This bus would bring us to another busstop and from there to Beaver Creek Skiplace. All the people in Beaver Creek were always very very heplful !!!!!! Thanks a lot !!!!! They also had a bus connection to Vail too !!!

It felt really like a home away from home !!!! We spent a perfect time skiing !!!!!

We visited Beaver Creek West during Jan 2010 and have only great things to say about the condos. We stayed in P2 (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom deluxe). The condo was clean, spacious, warm and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped (we cooked most nights of our stay) and the internal laundry was also very handy. The onsite pool and hot tubs are great - always hot and never too busy! There was also free wireless internet access.

There is no room service (although if you stay longer than a week they do come and do a weekly clean) and no restaurant onsite. However we didnt find this to be a problem at all and enjoyed the quiet away from the centre of Avon.

It is a short walk (7mins) to the Riverside Gondola that access' Beaver Creek or there is a free shuttle that runs every 15mins from right outside the condo. Transport to vail is a bit more difficult if you dont have a car - there is a bus that runs from the Riverside Gondola every 20mins or so. It costs $4 each way and takes between 20-40mins depending on traffic and which bus you catch. The bars, restaurants and supermarket are about a 10min walk away. There are also plenty of free buses that run to the supermarket etc.

We will definately return to beaver creek west condos. They are great value, gorgeous condos in a beautiful location.

Its pretty easy to describe my experience as I’ve stayed at Beaver Creek West ( or what my ski buddies and I call BCW) for 4 or 5 winters in a row. To provide some context, the first year I went to Beaver Creek/Vail, my buddy and I didn't know where to stay for a reasonable price and a reasonable rate. We opted to stay in Avon, at a competing complex about half a mile from BCW. The experience was fine, but the unit was very small, only had a kitchenette with a mini fridge, and at the end of a 4 or 5 night trip, it was feeling terribly cramped. It was simply not a comfortable place to return to after a day on the mountain. So, one year later we returned to Beaver Creek/Vail, this time doing more research on accommodations before we left. This time we reserved a one bedroom one bath unit at BCW, thinking one guy can take the bedroom and other guy can take the couch. Well, when we checked in they said we had a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom 2 bath. I was like Wow, this is perfect, as we had a third guy join the trip at the last minute and we were getting nervous about the sleeping arrangements. So we walked in the unit, and were shocked not only about how big the place was, but the fact that there were two beds in one bedroom, and a king bed in the other bedroom. We all would have beds. Further, the unit was so stocked with kitchen utensils, tools, pans, glasses, silverware, etc that 3 guys were encouraged to stay home several nights and whip up some food ourselves. The living room was spacious, had a full size couch plus several chairs. There was also a dining table which I believe had 6 chairs. On top of all that, there were plenty of towels, and a washer and dryer in the unit. It quickly felt like home, and we decided “this is the place” whenever we come back to Vail/Beaver Creek.

So, since that first experience at BCW, we have gone 4 or 5 additional times, once per winter. We have always stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit (different unit every year), both on low floors and high floors. We loved the 4th floor unit we had on one trip given it had vaulted ceilings and felt particularly spacious. All of our trips were in late January or early February, and there was always plenty of free parking right next to the building. In recent years, there has been free internet inside the units. ( I really don't recall if it was available the first year or 2). The pool, hot tubs, and sauna in the courtyard of the main building are particularly enjoyable after a day on the slopes. The staff has always been friendly both at front desk and around the property when you see them. As a matter of fact, one year the mgr gave me a free BCW fleece jacket for no reason, think he was just a nice guy and wanted to say “thanks for coming back, and hope to see you again”

To sum it all up, if you are looking for a clean, spacious, reasonably priced vacation ( probably 1/3 to ¼ the price of slope side places) to Beaver Creek/Vail, this is a great find. Its near a lot of amenities in Avon, a short ride to the Beaver creek parking lots, very easy access to I 70 to take the 10-15 minute drive to Vail, and a perfect home away from home.

Stayed in Unit S3 during our last trip to Colorado. It was great because we had easy access to the Beaver Creek lifts and the bus to Vail picked up very close to our building. The units was decorated very well, and provided all comforts of home. The nights we decided to stay in we could cook/grill and sit by the fireplace or enjoy the hot tub which was easily accessible via the back door. We comfortably slept 9 and are already planning another trip back. Hope to stay in the same unit for the 3rd year in a row.

We stayed in 4H in 2008 and returned in 2009 because the Condo is updated, clean and in a great location as we went to both Vail and BeaverCreek every other day for the week we were out in Colorado. The rate for the week was an excellent value as we have been to many places out west with accomodations at a higher cost but at lesser quality.

Recently stayed in 3 bedroom 3 bath Beaver Creek West Condominium. Accomodations were excellent! The unit comfortably slept 9, provided easy access to both BC lifts & Vail (via bus route), and included great ammenities! Also, showers stayed hot ...even with 9 people getting ready at the same time!

BC West is a great value!!!

we stayed a family of five in N4 and had a great time.
From the first contact via email the service level and helpfullnes of the hotel was fantastic. It's not completely new built, but the apartment was clean and functioned perfectly. The location is perfect for skiing at a much better value for money, as the transport to beaver creek and resorts around there is very easy. Also you have skating and sledging right next to the apartments. Can highly recommend this place for families going for some fun in the snow.
