Long-time local chef Marc Rouse's newest venture melds his love of food with his love of teaching others about food. The lovely decor (a modern aesthetic, warmed by reclaimed beetle-kill wood) offers guests the option to either sit at a table, or to sit along the long bar facing the kitchen. For those who are interested, sitting at the bar can be an opportunity to learn more about food and cooking, as if you were invited into a friend's kitchen who just happenes to be a chef.
The very reasonably priced cocktails, excellent house wines and small plates are substantially less expensive than at comparable restaurants in the Vail Valley. The ingredients are top quality and the pairings interesting. Restaurant patrons benefit from Marc's experience as a private chef specializing in healthy, locally-sourced food.
Located on the Northern side of The Seasons building, park out front of the building, or ask the building concierge for a garage pass. Walk through the lobby, past the fire place and out the rear doors of the building. The door to the restaurant is immediately on your left.
