“Get the Ruben!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

The Ruben was outstanding. So perfectly fried to a crisp. My only complaint was they were chinsy with the corned beef and sauerkraut.

“Great Breakfast and Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013

Went to this bakery - loved the breakfast sandwiches. Also went for lunch and the seafood gumbo was excellent. Service is slow but the wait is worth it!

“Best bread in the colorado mountains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Do you ever get frustrated with the quality of bread these days? Well, if you do, this bakery will give you hope that there is still something other than mass-produced bland bread loaves and bagels. But get there early -- by the end of lunch hour, most of their bagels are gone. Prices are a little high, but the quality of their sandwiches (the Eagle Smoked Salmon sandwich, on REAL marble rye bread, is probably our favorite) is superior to what you can get at cheaper places. Sometimes the wait can be frustrating, but the food is worth it.

“Great sandwiches, friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

We were seeking out Starbucks when we happened upon this place and got tempted to more than a coffee. We shared a sandwich (because we we were not really hungry....we really only wanted coffee...), we had chicken parmigiana with marinara sauce and mozzarella on focaccia bread. It took ages and we thought they had forgotten our order. When it came the server said that it had been cooked fresh, it was beautuful, so moist. The server also tempted us into having the last warm chocolate pastry, it was delicious. We went back a couple of times for breakfast and lunch. There is always a line, it will take a little longer than a subway, but well worth the wait. You can take away or there is a small area to eat in. The quality of the breads, which are made in house, are wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Yum-Yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Ok...yes, the space is small and awkward....the wait can be longer than you'd like, but if you appreciate quality, hand made food, then this is the place. Stayed at the Westin for several days and was glad to have found this place (nice, easy 5 minute walk from the Westin). Had breakfast three times and lunch once. Each meal was fantastic. No frills, nothing fancy, but the quality is stand-out. The breakfasts we had included the breakfast burrito, pepperonata sandwich, breakfast bagel sandwich and blueberry muffins. All were excellent. If I lived in Avon I'd eat here all the time. If you're looking for a relatively quick breakfast or lunch option with delicious results, this bakery/deli is for you. Very yummy indeed!
