“Great for family w/children”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

We went on a Thursday night. We had reservations for 8 at 5:45 and the table was ready. We would never have gone there were it not for TripAdvisor! It is not the type of place you would find on your own. Although known for pizza, all the adults and 5 children had "design it yourself" pasta dishes. Choose your fresh home made pasta, choose your sauce, and if you want more, choose your topping (shrimp, sausage, chicken, eggplant, etc.) The kids loved the choices and each had a different combination. Everyone LOVED their choices. Only one, an 8 year old, had a "kids meal" and it was huge. The rest of us all had adult sizes and none of us could eat all that we were served. You can split a dish for an additional charge of $3.50, and most people would find 1/2 of a normal adult serving to be more than enough. Wines are served only by the glass, but when we asked for a bottle, they said they would provide it for the price of 4 glasses of wine. Great service, warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend. Price not cheap at about $24.00 pp for "adult" portion, but less than most other dining choices at this expensive ski resort town. We will be back!

“Good food and relaxing environment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

This was one of our favorites on a recent trip to BC. We ate at a lot of pretentious, expensive restaurants, and Ticino is neither of those. Instead, it's a comfortable, low-key Italian place with good food. Located in a strange spot - inside some sort of office or condo building, but don't let that put you off. It's worth the hunt! Especially recommend the tagliatelle with alfredo sauce.

“Surprisingly good Italian food in hard-to-find spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

We had a very tasty meal here one night on a recent ski weekend. Reservations suggested, because we had trouble getting in before 8 pm. It's inside a condo complex, so a bit tough to find. Very convenient if you're staying at the Sheraton or Comfort Inn or other condos nearby. The Italian owner, who has owned the place less than two years, was very friendly and attentive, the waitress also. We all had the pasta which was fresh and tasty, if a bit oversauced. Salads were very large and delicious. Decor was warm and cozy, quite attractive. I thought the prices were reasonable given that this is an expensive resort area. Highly recommended spot.

“Great Italian food!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

From authentic Italian personal pizzas to a wide selection of Italian Pasta dishes, this "Small Restaurant" was well worth it. We enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of wine with some great pasta dishes. The portions were very generous, so we both got Doggy Bags and enjoyed our left-overs for lunch the next day!!!

“hard to find but worth looking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

Six of us had very good dinners here recently. Reservations were necessary, but not hard to get for a weeknight. Pasta combos were all good, as were the salads. Portions are large, so sharing a salad or a main course can be a good idea. Or if you want to try an appetizer and/or dessert, maybe skip the main course. Nice wine selection by the glass. The owner came by and chatted a couple of times, and he's an interesting guy.
