“michelin star restaurant! worth it the experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Great restaurant in a tiny tini location!
Sense of elegance and well done of everything in this restaurant, from the pottery to the ceilings and of course the dishes. Everything is delicious from the main Pastas to the fish, homemade fresh bread and extensive wine list.
Also during a wedding location La Brughiera is able to combine a high level of service and food. Enjoy the alfresco patio with a glass of ca' del Bosco.

“"Gastronomic Sensation"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

On a recent flying visit to see our Italian Manufacturer and Partner (Flymax) we were treated to what I have to say was one of the most memorable dinning experiences that I have ever endured.

Whilst our expectations were very high and due to reading previous Tripadvisor reviews (using translator), nothing could prepare us for the absolute joy of the entire "La Brughiera" tasting menu (Dinner) experience. We were not disappointed in any way.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such genuine professionalism and warmth by Stefano (Owner) and his very professional Maitre'd, whos name escapes me. The service was the very best from start to finish and you could tell the kitchen staff were there to create the very best experience for every patron, and they certainly succeeded in this.

The incredible artistic genius of every dish, the thought, flavours and astounding execution and presentation, was testament to the love of gastronomy that only a truly gifted chef and his team can achieve.

Our experinced (in serious cuisine) Italian partner who we were honoured to have with us on this memorable evening was more than impressed, and as he travels the world numerous times per year rated "La Brughiera" as one of his most treasured dinning experiences that he has ever had, it certainly was one of mine.

Comming from Australasia and spending most of my time in and out of various eating establishments, I rate "La Brughiera" up there with some of the "Very" best, even to go as far as saying better than some 2 or 3 star rated restaurants in and around San Sebastian in Spain.

La Brughiera is must for any "Discerning Diner".

“Clever, creative use of ingredients. Gorgeous garden!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

This Michelin starred restaurant was a pleasure to visit. I went with my husband and three young children (aged 4 - 9 years) and all were impressed by the food; and the presentation was fabulous.

The maitre d' was a lovely man, and although I don't speak Italian he did speak French, so we managed very well. He and his staff were kind and attentive, and the service was brilliant. We were lucky with the weather - glorious sunshine, so sitting on the terrace was incredibly special. The inside of the restaurant is equally lovely, and I could imagine in cold weather it would very cosy.

The food! Wow! Huge amounts of thought has gone into the textures, flavours, presentation of the freshest ingredients. Our amuse bouche was a chilled mussel on a herbed frozen sorbet disc, with a creme mousse underneath. It's a restaurant we would have gone back to if we'd had time - or if they'd been open on a Tuesday!

“Don't go”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2011 via mobile

We choose this restaurant as it has a michelin star, but we have been so disappointed! We had 1 main course each, 1 cheese for 2 (shared), 1 dessert each, 1 bottle of cheap wine and were charged 187 euros!!! 7 eur cover charge not mentioned on the menu, 4 eur tap water, etc... Food was okay but not great.... Terrible value for money
