Have been to this place a few times now and the food is consistently good with the staff being very helpful and attentive. It is never too much trouble to serve you - the main area was full and so they accommodated us in another room. I am not surprised it is such a popular place to eat.

Visited here four times in the past 3 years, each time with a group of 6+. Each time, consistent quality and service.

The food itself is good and the menu has something for everyone. It's generally typical pub food but look out for the specials as there is some really pleasing suggestions on there.

There are only a few tables so it's advisable to book if it's the weekend. The pub is a traditional country affair and always appears to be filled with locals.

Room tip: Didn't stay here - only went to the restaurant

You'd be hard-pushed to find a fault with this place. I recommend the sausage on mash - accompanied by one of their real ales. My mate had the scampi and loved it. CAMRA pub of the year, Deservedly so.

I really enjoyed the couple of visits to this pub, once for a meal and the second time to samle all the real ales. Freindly staff beautifuly kept ale-what is there not to like? :-)
The food was all home cooked and not over priced.

I could not fault the food at the Coach and Horses, plenty of choice and variety. The pub was very well frequented and probably would be best to book at table at the weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, which was accompanied by fresh vegetables, not just peas as most chain pubs serve nowadays. I would definitely revisit if back again in the area.
