We went here knowing the service is notoriously bad. We arrived and were told it might be a two hour wait and we might want to go elsewhere. Since it was the high season and incredibly busy, we decided to sit at the bar (the bartender was awesome and made a mean habanero margarita that wasn't on the menu) and wait it out. We were pleasantly surprised that we waited no more than 40 minutes. Once we were seated the experience changed. The restaurant felt chaotic. There were wait staff and bus boys buzzing around directionless. We entered no mans land where not one person tended to us and we had to get up and ask for service several times as we didn't have drinks, utensils, napkins, etc. The food and band were awesome but the apparent lack of management and direction had a palpable effect on the guests. My advice is to go with the expectations you'll be disappointed by the service but know their seafood is amazing. Make sure you're in good company and have a good attitude. The food is worth it.
