“Loved Pacha Tulum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

Pacha Tulum is a cute little B&B consisting of private rooms and dorm rooms. We stayed in a private room with private bath, air conditioning and free wifi. The Rooms are impeccably clean and beautifully designed. It wasn't in the heart of downtown but for us was in a perfect location. There was a supermarket and car rental across the road, bicycle rentals just down the road and a 24 hour Oxxo next door. Pacha Tulum is situated on the main road that takes you down to all the beaches, resorts and Mayan ruins. Its about a 10 minute bike ride to a great public beach called Sante Fe and is only a 2 minute bike ride to downtown and the ADO bus terminal. It is also centrally located to the local cenotes Dos Ojos and Gran Cenote.

The service and staff were excellent. Free purified water is provided and a free breakfast in their Italian restaurant. Breakfast was far from typical with the options of Mexicano, Italiano and Americano ;) and by far the yummiest breakfast we have experienced from a B&B yet. The staff went above and beyond to not only make our stay a comfortable one but a memorable one helping us in any which way they could.

Overall we loved every little quirk about Pacha Tulum! From their little outdoor setting for guests to relax and share a few drinks at night admiring the lovely garden and local Iguanas, to the little clothing and handmade jewellery store, to the yoga and massage studio out the back.

Originally we had booked 3 nights and ended up staying a week. Not only is Pacha Tulum great value for money but we would we recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely come back and stay again.

We would like to give a very big thank you to Chiara, Fabio and Mia who not only made our stay so special but whom we've made life long friends! Chiara you have inspired me :) We love you Pacha Tulum!

We only stopped in for lunch, but the food is worth writing about. The owners are Italian and import their cheese and some prepared meats from Italy. After being in Mexico for a while, we craved pasta and pizza. They both were excellent. The owners even use the good Barilla pasta. Of course the cheese is fresh and the pizza crust to perfection. My friend had a pina colada and said it was the best ever. The owners pride themselves on using as many natural ingredients in their food as possible.

Pacha Tulum is a clean hostel in a good position to reach the beach and the archeological site.
The staff is helpful and friendly, the garden and the room are nice (even if the bathroom could be better ... and with a real door).

Pacha tulum was great, located near everything but not on the main strip it was very convienient and practical. The staff mariella, eric and andrea were awesome! Eric fixed us great tropical drinks! The inner garden was relaxing and beautifull. We loved our stay!
