I'll be quick: this is an EXCELLENT place for your breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, supper or a night out. BYOB. Delicious fresh food cooked in front of you. Lovely staff. Good selection. Amazing prices! Don't miss it!

“Perfect deal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012 via mobile

Out of the 6 days in tulum, we ate here 5 times. Tons of options of delicious foods. All super fresh and great presentation. The folks that work here are super sweet as well. Very glad we found them.

“Hidden Neighborhood Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2012

One(?) block east of and parallel to the main avenue in town (look for the sturdy white wall with rainbow-colored vertical bars across the street). Stumbled upon this tiny, friendly, open-air spot our first night while looking for some authentic chow away from tourists after 9 hours of travel down from Seattle. SCORE!! Delicious modest menu (tacos, empanadas, quesadillas, etc) with local, super-fresh ingredients cooked up from scratch at neighborhood resident prices. Check it out and bring your Spanglish;)

“Relief from the tourist places”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

Drawn to this place by the women cooking away in the open and the simple and cheap menu. As vegetarians we wouldn't eat most of the food but quesadillas and empanadas con queso were delicious, and the simple delight of tasty chilequiles con huevos. After all the lights and noise of the other restaurants both in Tulum pueblo and along the beach, this is real comfort street food, served to you sitting on a stool at a bar watching women perform miracles with flour.

“Delicious: chilaquiles con huevos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2012

Really tasty mexican food. Friendly. Not touristy. I had my first (and only so far) chilaquiles con huevos here. I'd go again. Really good value.
