i had already eaten at La Siesta years ago when it was in Playa del Carmen and the food was great, Italian kitchen and Mexican as well to not talk about pizza cooked in the wood-fired brick oven has nothing to envy to Italian pizza. This year I found La Siesta in Tulum there is much more space and with a big garden half covered and half open, there is also a small Palapa in an angle for romantic dinners. Although many years have passed since I've eaten at la Siesta I must say the kitchen hasn't changed, I ate divinely: a mixed Cevice, fantastic with fresh fish and super Ravioli stuffed with lobster and crab sauce dressing, even if I was full I couldn't resist eating a slice of pizza, and to end a Chocolate mousse (simply wonderful). It's a pity there isn't a place like this even in Playa del Carmen. Where you find good food, a big space with backyard and a lot of courtesy.
I suggest Tulum to everybody, it's ruins, the wonderful beach, white thin sand and transparent waters, and to end with, La Siesta where to eat divinely.
