“Great Food and Beautiful View”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2014

Zamas is located in the restaurant area of central Tulum. Great for pizzas to seafood and a great covered outdoor view of the bay. Great value for good food ! I will definitely return on my next visit.

“Great View and the Food Isn't Bad Either”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

The view at Zamas is wonderfu! A small little restaurant right on the beach (part of a hotel). We ate breakfast here most mornings on our trip. The thing that makes the food here so good is that it is so simple and FRESH. We also ate dinner here one night, and again the food was nothing extraordinary, but I almost licked my plate clean because of the freshness of the ingredients. I highly recommend their Huevos Rancheros at breakfast!

“Amazing setting!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

After a morning exploring the Coba Ruins and before heading to the Tulum Ruins, we found this little gem. Had great fish tacos overlooking the ocean and the best mojitos of vacation. (Some had to have "American" food and opted for the burgers and fires which they said were delicious.) Waiter offered us use of the private beach with lounge chairs, shade and a small spit of an accessible sandy beach. A great respite.

“Craving a Burger? Eat Here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2014

We needed a change from Mexican Fare & enjoyed burgers & fries at Zamas. We went at night so we didn't get to enjoy the fantastic view but the outside palapa was romantic & picturesque. The food was tasty & the prices were reasonable for the location; around $15 USD each. Service wasn't very friendly or attentive but this seemed to be the norm from our experiences in restaurants along the beach.

“Every Year”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

We make a special visit to Tulum every year just to have breakfast and then lunch at Zamas. Some of the best ceviche around and a fantastic, authentic Mexican breakfast. Beautiful place, too--right on an emerald beach. Service consistently good also. More than just location---food worth a stop.
