“Fish Tacos and Beer!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

This was the first place we ate at in Tulum. Great fish tacos, fast service, great chips and dips. Nice bar area. Sit out by the beach and watch the waves roll in - prop your feet up and enjoy a cold adult beverage! Nice place, with good parking. It's sandy - so wear flops or no shoes...I mean we are at the beach folks. Would definitely go here again. Try it!

“Incredible Mexican food with a brilliant view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating every breakfast and a couple of dinners at this wonderful establishment. The service staff were very warm, fun and inviting. Our copious breakfasts would start with fresh tropical juice blends followed by traditional mexican meals. The Mayan breakfast stands out in particular with eggs and beans. A major advantage for us was that the staff was very accommodating to our vegetarian palates. As far as dinner was concerned, the red beet risotto was unique with a tasty creamy texture. The restaurant is beach front with an absolutely stunning view. Last, be sure to make it to the weekly tequila tasting, which includes the most delicious margaritas we have ever had the pleasure of having. All in all, absolutely amazing!

“Best in Tulum. Period.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013 via mobile

Ambience? You got it. Have lunch ON THE OCEAN. Professional? The best in the Yucatan. Food? Hands down my favorite! In Tulum, where good food and service are second to the mysteries and history of the terrain, you can find top notch locally sourced ingredients, loving prepared CUISINE that pays tribute to it's source and adds a moderns twist.

Manager Leonardo runs the show with expert panache, everything from the bar to the waiters to the bussers, is on spot. Hands on management is apparent.

Tuesdays currently they have a $25 Tequila tasting that is a great deal, informative and intoxicating. Also follows is a pre fixe Mexican dinner which is a steal for haute cuisine on the beach.

Menus change for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Super fresh food, professional service and the Oceanside location are impossible to beat. And oh yeah, abundant parking. Come during the day and enjoy a swim and enjoy Oceanside lounges and take a swim in the deep blue.

“Yum Yum Yum from the Honeymooners”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

We stayed at The Beach Tulum Hotel next door and had the pleasure of eating dinner at Ziggy's twice and free breakfast each of our 5 days there. The food is inventive, delicious, and could easily be found at any fine dining establishment back home in LA. I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dinner because it was our first two nights there, but we were very satisfied. We ate at other restaurants the rest of the other nights only because we wanted a different dining experience.

The full breakfast menu was included with our hotel and that was certainly one of the highlights of our stay. Their menu has something for everyone wanting a Mexican, European, or American breakfast. We tried several things and everything was delicious! Do order the cappuccino over the regular coffee, though. It's hotter and more flavorful than the regular coffee. I only did that on the last day and wish I had that everyday. Other than that, we were so happy staying at The Beach Tulum Hotel and eating at Ziggy's on our honeymoon!
