Now you eat pretty well in Playa del Carmen but this was over the top. Open since 8 months only, the owner Julien and his wife Chloé really have a sense of what french cuisine is all about.. The service was impeccable. Right away, the server brought a plate of olive tapenade (absolutely beautiful) with pieces of excellent homemade bread. You must try the absolutely sublime plate of duck paté also served with their own bread and 2 different kinds of chutney. I had the duo of clams and mussels served with ratatouille. It was perfect. My husband had the parmentier of duck confit served with a salad. He loves duck and thought it was the best duck he ever had, a large portion, very high quality. Another plus is that they serve a good glass of wine. While we were eating, Chloé, Julien and their beautiful 2 month old daughter were sitting nearby and made us feel at home, Chloé giving us tips on where to go if you don’t want to do the commercial thing. Great experience, a definite place to visit.
