“Excellent! Not to miss!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

We stopped here for dinner one night and it was packed with a forty minute wait, so we came back the following day when there was no wait. I'm no expert in Venezuelan cuisine but the food was incredible! Very low prices as well. Perfect for lunch or a casual dinner. To top it off, the service was fantastic! Make sure to stop here during a Playa stay...my husband and I will definitely be back!

“Hidden Treasure of Playa del Carmen”

Best international food in town and the most kind, welcoming staff. We (my wife and i) felt the friendliness from the owner and staff who ensure that we enjoyed our time there.

“Deliciousness with Kindness at a bargain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2014

Bottom line- delicious unique Venezuelan food place run by super kind and warm pair of Venezuelan sisters at a great price. Yes, the ambience isn't awesome and there is limited seating but the delicious food, great service, and outstanding value more than make up for it. We were given a sample of all the different juices they had when first seated which was great, then one of the sisters went through and explained the menu to us. The food was great.

“Very unique & delicious dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

My wife and I ate here based on the other trip advisor recommendations and weren't disappointed. Upon being seated, the warm & very friendly waitress spent significant time explaining the Venezuelan cuisine to us including providing samples of four different fruit drinks. We both ate the Arepas Pabellon which consisted of shredded beef and black beans in a large corn pancake. It was incredibly delicious and very filling at an amazingly low cost! Be forewarned that this is a relatively small restaurant and seating is at a premium so either come early or make reservations

“How Refreshing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

Small family run open air Venezuelan Restaurant. The sisters were the waitresses and so pleasant and described each item on the menu. Papa was so gracious and even if you did not like their food you need to go as the family is so grateful that you came to their restaurant. Their juices were so refreshing and the food was also good and reasonable. Please go, as you will enjoy it.
