“Get on the bus!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

If you are wanting to learn a bit more of the Merida history, I suggest getting on the TuriBus and ride around the actual main part of what was once old town Merida made up of la colonia Garcia Ginerez, beautiful ride and so much to see, take a video recorder too.

“Take the time....beautiful property from the 1500's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Montejo was the 'conqueror' of the Yucatan. Hard to believe this house was built in the 1500's and is still in beautiful condition. It's a quick tour and worth a stop.

“A wonderful walk down a lovely boulevard”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Old mansions from the time of the hemp trade dominate but unfortunately some are now banks and one Starbucks....but there are also museums and a few private dwellings and on Sundays on section is reserved for bicycle riding!

“Richard visiting grand haciendas of Merida”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Beautiful tree lined four lane divided road with large historic haciendas, hotels, banks, and high end businesses. Great shaded walk with some outdoor restaurants.
