“Yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

This place is a must eat at when in Isla! I've had their cinammon rolls, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch....all were fantastic. Brad and Tiffany are expats who saw Isla, loved it and moved there. They have a great business there and they are so friendly, but most importantly the food is great! Definitely stop by if you can. They are right on the Ave. Hidalgo which is the shopping street that is closed off for walking traffic only.

“Another coffee refill? Why, sure.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

This place is our breakfast staple whenever we are on the island. Great bagels, good coffee (and refills are plentiful!), central location, and friendly owners (Tiffany and her husband). Tiffany's upbeat energy is infectious, and so you'll leave here feeling hyped up on both caffeine and positivity. Definitely recommended!!

“Make sure you eat here!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

Stopped twice for breakfast on our trip. Paninins were great. I can eat and still took leftovers. Awesome bagels with great toppings. Fresh orange juice and hot coffee. A perfect spot to start a day on isla.

The owners are very friendly and so hardworking. We felt welcome the moment we sat down. We have already booked a trip back to Isla and this place is truly one of the reasons. Thanks to Tifanny an Brad. You run a great place!

“Avoid the banana muffin!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013 via mobile

We stopped here one morning on our way to the beach. My wife ordered a cinnamon bun and I had the banana muffin. The bun was fine but my muffin was undercooked. The result was a bit of an unpleasant ball of dough.
The staff were friendly and attentive. This place is very popular with the morning tourist traffic. Almost always full. We would try it again but avoid the muffin!

We are so sorry you did not enjoy your banana muffin. When you are back on the Island, please introduce yourself & we will reimburse you for the muffin. We really want all our customers to enjoy their food from Barlito & feel really bad that you did not. We hope to see you the next time you visit Isla.

Our best regards,
Brad & Tiffany Wareing
