Hotel Kinich is located in the heart of Centro but it's off the busy pedestrian only Hidalgo Street.
A block walk to the west side beaches and a few block walk to North Beach. Everything is at your doorstep. The Hotel is small (10 rooms) and spotlessly clean. Staff are helpful. All the rooms have balconies, the first floor ones on the west side have huge decks. The top floor has 2 rooms, they are 1 bedroom self contained suites. Number 10 faces to the west and number 9 to the east.
Great for a week or 2 stay. They have a big roof top deck with chairs, tables and sun loungers.
Great spot to relax and watch the sunset. They rent big beach towels for $10 per week so you can have a fresh towel every day. For beach time on the west side try "Caribbean Queen" they will give you free lounge chairs and umbrella at the waters edge in exchange for buying drinks and food from them. North Beach try the "SunSet Grill" for 250 peso's you get 2 loungers, umbrella, table and beach towels. The best part is they deduct the amount spent for drinks and food from the 250 peso's. Lunch for 2, a couple of happy hour rounds and you have covered the 250 peso's. Drinks are good and the food was exceptionaly good.
Room Tip: West side rooms are off the street and very quiet. There are 2 - 1 bedroom suites #9 facing east and...
