This place was wonderful!! It was clean, safe and totally relaxing. It is within walking distance to everything including the beach and the price is right. We will be coming back!!

Francis Arlene is a clean hotel with friendly staff and a great courtyard area.

If you are staying at the Francis Arlene, it is because you want to have a nice place to come and relax between the day at the beach and going out for dinner/drinks. Then to retire at the end of the day.

The beach is only a 10 minute or so walk away while shops, grocery stores, and restaurants are right around the corner.

Coming to Isla and staying at the Francis Arlene you are sure to have a great stay.

My husband and I have visited the Island meny times.
We like this Hotel as its owner operated....they live on site, its clean, inexpensive and has a great location.
Front rooms are a bit noisy, some rooms have been redone and are nicer with kitchenettes. Rooms on main floor can be musty smelling .....its the climate....not the hotel.
The new top roof sitting area is perfect for evening happy hours!
We enjoyed this hotel, and would definitly use it again and again!
We have not had any reasons to compain from this establishment!

Nice little hotel for the price. Clean rooms and courteous staff. We had room #4 on the second floor in the back. It was quiet, spacious and had a kitchenette and balcony. The semi-private porch in front of the room added more living space. Our friends had #6 which is on the 2nd floor in the front. They complained of noise from the street and had to keep their windows closed at night. But overall they were still happy with the room.

The hotel is right downtown, a block from restaurants, shops and the grocery. Its a pleasant quarter-mile walk to North Beach, where we spent most days.

We would definitely stay again at this hotel.
