“Such a Cool place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

What a true treat. Actually was a raining morning and had a cab take us into town and asked him where to grab breakfast, as he pulled up to a place near the fery we said no let try something else he said he knew where to go. He pulled up and we ran into the place and the open atmosphere was nice it seemed like a few locals were there so we felt comfortable, plus cute place great decor and very friendly staff and had Wi-fi. Great menu and food was great. To throw in the ambiance of siting and watching people walking around even in the now dissel just a cool setting. Prices were good and they will tell you how much in US dollars as well if you up at the counter. We actually went back for coffee another night and it seemed like it is the hang out place for the local community and was very warming.

“Great coffee, food & vibes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

This is a great spot to read, work, have lunch or just hang out and have coffee. Great latte, salads, good service. They have tables, couches and lounge chairs and plenty of plugs for your laptop or phone.

“Hip vibe, great coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

Love the open atmosphere and hip design of this place. The coffee and service were both great. Definitely hits the spot after a day at the beach or for a nice morning caffeine boost.

“An unexpected touch of "home" on this beautiful island...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

For those of us who love the thought of getting away from it all on a tropical vacation; a place like Isla Mujeres fits that bill perfectly. (see a few of my other reviews for a description of various bars and restaurants on the island).
Occasionally however, even if just for 30 minutes; a great cup of coffee, perhaps a newspaper, maybe a quick check of your email, has to be part of the equation. The Cafe Mogagua fits that bill perfectly, and then some. It somehow manages to create an casual cafe (and restaurant) vibe, yet never let you forget that you're someplace unique. This isnt your neighborhood Starbucks. (and I am a Starbucks fan)
Great coffee, good food, a comfortable place to sit, read, and watch the day to day activity on the crossing streets..... when you need just a moment or two away from the beach; this is your spot!

“Great Place For Breakfast or Simply A Break”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

If you are missing a great cup of coffee or a Frappucino, like pastries, nutella and mexican breakfast dishes, and who doesn't, this is a great option for you. Not only do I love all the above, Mogagua has one of the nicest and cleanest spots on the island. It's on a corner and completely airy. And, the folks at the restaurant are incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast by the way usually includes coffee, juice, toast and fruit in addition to your main selection. It's easy to make to dinner without the need of anything in between after breakfast here.
