We just returned from another wonderful stay at Casa Luna Turquesa! As always, we enjoyed relaxing and sleeping to the sound of the crashing waves, waking up with the sunrises, hunting seaglass on the beach, and viewing the gorgeous sunsets from the front porch and rooftop! We spent most of our afternoons lounging by the pool staying cool away from summer heat. The upper porch on the front of the house is our favorite perch on the island for people-watching. There are several mini-marts just to the south of the house for stocking up on groceries and snacks, a wonderful restaurant just a few doors away (Da Louisa), and another great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Mango, a short walk through the colonias. We usually walk to and from El Centro, but taxis are always easily available at the curb in front of the house. It's a short 20 peso ride to town. Having stayed in both upper studios and the downstairs house, we've always been impressed with the consistently clean beautiful comfortable decor. We got a nice surprise this visit! We've been away from Seattle for five years, but we were back home again when we noticed the local Seattle stations on your television! The WiFi was great for keeping up with friends back home. Drew, as always, checked daily to see if we needed anything, We stayed at Luna Turquesa for the first time in 2005 and we've been repeat visitors ever since! Can't wait to come back again! Thanks again for another great stay!
