The hotel was clean and comfortable. Great value for the price. Nice location in town (we didn't notice any noise with the balcony doors closed).
Check in was easy. Ocean view room with king bed was very large. As others have noted, there are no dressers; you do get a closet with one top shelf, a desk, two nightstands and a tv armoire. Staff was helpful. We spent little time in the hotel as we were there to dive. The room came with breakfast every morning (that is, sweet rolls, coffee and juice) served to the room beginning at 7:30. Because we had to leave by 7 every day for diving (we did that intentionally - there is the option of afternoon dive boats), we asked if they could deliver it early, and they said yes. It never really happened. If we found a staff member in the morning and asked, they would get us the coffee and juice (we were told the breads were delivered each morning too late for us). Since this is the worst complaint we have, it wasn't too bad. We would definitely go back. The bathroom was a little small, but the shower itself was large. The bathroom size wasn't an issue.
We dove with Dive with Martin. We almost changed our dive shop because we had to take to/from the hotel and the dive shop ($5 each way). We dove with them the first day because we needed to give 24 hours advanced notice to cancel. After that day, we decided the dive shop was worth the cab fare. Most of the dive shops that have piers very close or in the town cater to larger groups. Over the week , we dove with several different DMs (we dove 4 dives most days). All of the DMs and boat captains were first rate. Most of our dives were on smaller boats with only our group (our dive groups were usually 6-8 people). Though the group individuals had varied experience, we were allowed to dive our computers up to 1 hour (most of our dives
were limited to 50-55 minutes due to my air consumption). We highly recommend them.
