Stay at Casita de Maya only if you want a relaxing trip with an awesome host. The host and owner Dan not only knows everything about the Island, but is also a great guy to hang out with. The rooms were very clean and up to date. My wife and I really enjoyed the cozy feel of the grounds and relaxing to the XM radio while playing cards. Do not hesitate to stay at this gem, it is a true deal. Also, bring in a bottle of Captain Morgan Rum for our friend Dan, he can not resist.

We are so glad we didn't go to a big all inclusive! Casita De Maya was a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are beautiful with all the amenities you could want. The courtyard is a great place to hang out and have a beer after a long day at the beach, and the pool is very refreshing. Dan is a great host; he's lots of fun and has lots of tips about the island - what to do, where to go, etc. A car is handy to have (Smartcar Rental is right next door, and we had no problems with them) but a cab ride into town is only a couple of bucks. Thanks again Dan for an awesome holiday.
