Had an awesome stay at Baldwins Guest House. top notch service plus! was entertained beyond expections. Location was within walking distance of most waterfront shopping and dining. Their pool was clean and very relaxing.

This was our fifth trip to Cozumel and frankly I can't imagine what Dale and Kathy could do any better. For a B&B to be any good, the beds have to be great and the breakfasts have to be stellar - and here you can rest assured they both are as they should be. I never sleep as well at home as I do at Baldwin's Guest House. Their mattresses are superb. Breakfast there is simply amazing. It consists of two courses, the first being fresh local fruit and yogurt and the second consisting of meat, eggs, and a starch of some sort. You may get beans and rice, waffles, pancakes, or a breakfast enchilada of some sort.

Now you've gotten what you paid for but you're not done getting service. For starters there's an outdoor bar and cocina where there's beer, wine, tequila, margaritas (Kathy makes the best anywhere!) and of course soft drinks. The prices are quite modest - $1.50 US for a beer. Need a car? Dale can get you a deal but it's best to work the deal out as early as possible. Looking for a restaurant suggestion? Dale and Kathy know most of the best places and a plethora of favorites with the locals. Be sure to ask them about Mr. Taco or their favorite shrimp taco joint. Want to dive, fish, or go sailing? Dale can fix you up with knowledgeable people at good prices.

In the evenings, guests often gather around the bar and swap stories, ask questions, tell lies, or be teased by Dale. It makes for a great relaxing end of the day. There's a swimming pool, turtles, lizards, probably a thousand orchids and loads of other beautiful blooming plants. It is an enchanted place. As a B&B it is great but what's best isn't the B or the B, it's the hospitality that Dale and Kathy deliver. If you need something, ask. They will take care of you.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great but the Casita is my favorite followed by what I think they call the Garden...

Baldwin's is a Little B&B with a nice pool, a beautiful and cute backyard and two wonderful hosts. The best: their beds and Kathy's permanently varying breakfast. They take care of everything - and immediately - and gave us the feeling of coming home every evening when we came back from an island adventure.
It is a 12 min walk from the waterfront/"downtown" but to get around, Explore the island a moto/Car rental is recommended. But there also: let Dale check for best deals.
Thanks Kathy&Dale for the time we spent at your little carribean paradise!

We stayed 6 nights, on this our first trip to Cozumel. We selected Baldwin's based solely on the fantastic trip advisor reviews below. All I can say is that this place is BETTER than the glowing reviews we read! Dale and Kathy go above and beyond, with attention to detail that is unsurpassed. You can not go wrong here!

We spent a week at Dales and Kathys in November (initially booked for 5 days but we extended) and stayed in the casita.

When arriving at Dale and Kathy's guesthouse we were not sure what to expect, The gate at the front does not let you imagine what is beyond. Once we passed through the gate the hosts showed us around the little garden of Eden, with all sorts of animals: tortoises (enclosed at the moment), geckos, wild birds as well as in a large cage of exotic birds at the back.

The garden is very well kept and very clean. The room was also very clean
Kathy and Dale were very accommodating and ready to help whenever necessary, offering laundry services or directing us to some amazing places to eat (Mr Taco!!!), renting us a car...
Breakfast was agreed with Kathy in the evening before, where we would be asked if we wanted anything in particular, and all was available.

Evenings were spent around the outside kitchen exchanging stories with other guests and the hosts.

Its approx 10 mins walk to the center/Plaza/Sea Front, but we liked this as it allowed us to walk off our tacos, and gave us a breather after diving; it would be no effort at all to work to the sea front; It was actually good to be away from the main touristy area, and a little closer to real mexico, and especially nearer to mr tacos.

It is exceptionally clean, the breakfast is great with a good choice of fruit, pancakes, cereals. The hosts were great. We would recommend that you take up Dales offer of helping rent a car, as doing it whilst on the islands cost us more. In fact, We could not recommend staying here enough. We will definitely stay at Baldwins on our next trip to Cozumel.

Just came back from a week in Coz with Kathy and Dale. My wife and I have been coming to Baldwin's for 6 years now and just can't say enough about the place. Simply said, these people have become family to us. We have never experienced anything like it anywhere and we consider ourselves travelers, not a tourists. The food, cleanliness and attention to detail in the rooms is second to none. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you have a question about the island just ask as they have been living there for ~18 years.

And what I like best is that Baldwins is NOT located on the strip with the tourists its located in a neighborhood some 12 blocks away. You can easily walk to some of the best restaurants that the locals eat in and you will get some culture while you are at it.

I do have 1 warning for those considering on coming to Baldwins, brace yourself, you will most likely leave with a bone crushing hug from Kathy and Dale. :)

Room Tip: There are all good, it comes down to preferences of a queen or a king bed.

This is the place to stay if you want to feel like you are in Paradise and being treated like royalty.

It is a beautiful piece of heaven on the island, always a new flower or bird to fill the eyes with wonder and beauty.

The delicious island breakfast is served with class and fit for a king.

Lovely rooms with good beds.

Everything is sparkling clean.

Kathy is a darling little elf who wisk around and seems to miraculously meet all your needs.

Lovely, lovely place.
