We recently spent a week at the Baldwin Guest House and it was outstanding! The house is beautiful, exceptionally clean and the breakfast was sensational! Dale and Kathy go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed and they are very knowledgable about the island, the sites, diving and any other accomodations that you might be interested in. You meet the nicest people from all over the world there and you feel like one big happy family! We plan to make it an annual trip!

The Baldwin House was fabulous. We decided to give it a try after reading great reviews about it on TripAdvisor, and I'm so glad we did. Kathy and Dale were extremely helpful and our experience wouldn't have been nearly as great without them. They really understood what we were looking for and had quality advice for restaurants, activities, beaches, etc. Everything was impeccably clean, and the atmosphere around the house and gardens was very laid-back and relaxing. I felt like I had my privacy but at the same time was able to get any of the answers or help that I needed at all times. It was like a haven for English-speakers after being confused in many of our other endeavors around the island! The breakfast was amazing, great fruits every morning and a beautiful idyllic garden and courtyard to eat breakfast al fresco every morning. I would definitely go back, and I recommend it to anyone going to cozumel, old or young.

Our experience at the Baldwin was fabulous. As soon as we stepped onto the property, we were immediately greeted by Kathy and notified that our room was upgraded to the "Casita," a great private bungalow, at no additional charge. What a great surprise! The Casita was extremely cozy, spacious (enough to house 4 people) and clean.

Everyone has written about Kathy’s breakfasts and it definitely lived up to the all the hype. From the freshly squeezed OJ to the french toast, fresh fruit, breakfast burritos, brownies, etc. I could go on and on…All I can say is that you will not be disappointed. There is something for everyone! The breakfast alone is worth the price of your stay at Baldwin. Plus, it provided the much needed sustenance for our dives each morning!

Kathy and Dale (the owners) are extremely helpful in finding the best resaturants, coordinating scuba diving trips, tours to Chakkanab and all things Cozumel, calling taxis, and even providing umbrellas during rainy days. It really felt like a home away from home. Also, it is worth mentioning that one of the best parts of our experience in Cozumel was all the great people we met during our stay at Baldwin. It is a credit to Kathy and Dale that they foster such a comfortable, homey environment. All the guests end up feeling like great friends by the time you leave.

We highly recommend staying at the Baldwin. I can’t wait to go back!

As we drove up to the Baldwin Guest House we were greeted by Kathy and Dale with a warm welcome and tour of their beautiful bed and breakfast in Cozumel. We enjoyed the beautiful and immaculate grounds; hammocks strategically placed; a lovely deep blue pool against a relaxing waterfall with tropical plants and trees; inviting lounge chairs; a large gazebo and outdoor bar/counter with refrigerator, chairs; beautiful pictures, etc. - alive yet peaceful in their surroundings. We enjoyed a lovely king bedroom and bath inside the main house and felt totally pampered and comfortable throughout our stay. The guest house in back, where our two teenage/adult sons lived for the week, gave them the opportunity to enjoy each other's company and still be part of this shared vacation experience as a family. Each morning Kathy and Dale would prepare a full fresh homemade breakfast feast, fit for a king! What a wonderful treat as all of the guests shared our morning meal together, family style. It was like being with an extended family as we enjoyed meeting other couples and their children from different parts of the world! Kathy and Dale guided us to the best places to eat - local style - and arranged for our dive master and fishing guide as we explored the island during our stay. In every situation, we were thrilled and happy with our experience. On day 5 the El Norte blew in with winds and rain which kept us from exploring the reefs and fishing so we ventured around the island and checked out several restaurants and beaches which were absolutely gorgeous and as we admired the blue waters, white sand and enjoyed hanging out together with no agenda. Perfect Paradise! Overall, the Baldwin Guest House was truly a relaxing vacation experience as our family enjoyed our special moments together for the week. Though the warm hospitality, generosity, kindness and attention to detail from our host and hostess, we know we will return again. If you want to be removed from the "on the beach" hotels and downtown hustle and bustle (especially as the cruise ships come to port), we would highly recommend Kathy and Dale's very special bed and breakfast as the Perfect Paradise for you!
