I can't say enough good things about this tour. On a very busy island, the pearl farm tour is like a little oasis away from anything remotely touristy (or populated for that matter). It takes you to a section of the island only accessible by boat and it is stunning the entire way. The day is very relaxing, as well as informative (without being TOO much learning). The snorkelling was some of the best I've ever seen, and the best I saw on Cozumel. It was such a pleasure encountering a local family project and to be able to support such a meaningful venture. On top of all the hard work the pearl farm does to produce beautiful pearls, they are also making conservation efforts to support the reefs on Cozumel that are being damaged - amazing! keep up the good work :)

“Spectacular!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

This was a wonderful experience. Starting with the boat ride from Puerto de Abrigo, to the beautiful beach where the Pearl farm is located, the day was incredible. We did everything from learning the science of pearl farming, to exploring the underwater farm, speed snorkeling, eating a delicious meal, hanging out in the crystal water of the caribbean, Gaia the chocalate lab and the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were so lucky to have found this. Thanks Poncho, Isabella, and the rest! What a day.....

“Awesome fun and learn all about pearls!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

To start the experience you travel by boat which was wonderful....about 20 minutes, then you learn about the pearl farm, snorkeling and a great lunch....all on a private island outside of Cozumel. Don't miss this! Plus you can buy a pearl cultivate right there! So fun, don't miss this!

“Fantastic da to explore, snorkel, eat, drink, boat ride, and even learn about pearls!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

My girlfriend and I took a four day cruise to Cozumel. We weren't interested in any of the tours that the ship offered. After reading the reviews on trip advisor we decided to take this trip to the family owned pearl farm. It was fantastic. Once we got off the ship we took a short taxi cab to another pier. That is where we picked up the tour getting on a speed boat , which took us to a private island. They keep the tour groups very small and on this day there was only one other couple that was with us. They gave us the history and vision of their business and taught us about how pearls are created and the different types. Next we went out to sea to where the oysters are being raised and "power snorkeling" (held onto a rope from the moving boat). Even if you don't snorkel you would still enjoy this trip. Afterwards, they took us back to the beach, gave us a wonderful lunch with some time to swim or walk the beach. All of the employees were very pleasant and professional. I had some concerns of getting back to the cruise ship. But this tour leader made sure that We were back on time, even with a little time to shop in town. I would rate this Tripp A+.

“Great day in beautiful Cozumel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

We have visited Cozumel multiple times, did many of the other attractions available...I would have to say this is one of the most beautiful places I have been on the Island of Cozumel. We had an awesome tour of the pearl farm, snorkling, great food, drink, playing in the water, shell searching and conversation. There are biting bugs, so make sure and put on some repellant. Don't be afraid to make the reservations through them directly, they are honest and hard working business. Next visit we are thinking about staying a night on the pearl farm!
