“Excellent service and tasty food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

Recommended by our favorite employee at the Coral Princess, Marcos, we took a cab to dinner at Fratelli's. Our server was very friendly and we enjoyed our time there. Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the minestrone soup they served us "on the house"! If you like cripsy, thin crust pizza this is the place for you. The red snapper with italian red sauce was excellent too. Avocado salad with spinach was fresh and tasty. We were the only tourists here, it seems to be a local place with "local prices". Marcos gave us a 20% coupon that they honored, our bill was amazingly cheap! Probably should keep this a secret as to not spoil it for the locals!

“Wonderful, romantic dinner spot.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

This was our first visit to Fratelli's. It's a small, quaint little Italian restuarant. Service was very good, The restaurant is in an old building with wooden walls and old wooden doors. Very nicely done to enhance its "old" atmosphere.
We had avocado salad - excellent. Pizza was really good and the lasagna was OK. We ended up taking half the pizza and 3/4 of the lasagna home because we ordered way too much food. I highly recommend this place.

“Great little find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

After a week of enjoying Mexican food, our group wanted a change of pace and asked about Italian food on the island. Our taxi driver knew of some of the more expensive places, but we found this little gem on tripadvisor and asked him to head over there.

The kind waiter greeted us and we sat down in the dark. Moments later, the generator roared to life and the lights and fans came on (not sure why they're not on the grid, but whatever).

The bread, as mentioned, is like an inflated pizza crust, bubbly and hot, with oil for dipping. Among our group, we had a variety of pizza, pasta, salads, and drinks. They put freshly-clipped basil on the pizza, and the salad was all fresh, a nice break from the pre-bagged vegetable medley served in most other places.

Prices were moderate, with the average tab less than $35 including salad, main, drinks (both alcoholic and non), and tip.

The best part was the waiter who was exceptionally kind and attentive. We were the only ones in the restaurant, and it's such a pleasure finding places like this. It's definitely on the return list.

“Nasty pizza”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

Carried out two pepperoni pizzas. Little sauce, weird tasting pepperonis, plastic cheese. Very disappointed. Wish we had gotten Pizza Hut or dominoes.

“Great Italian off the Beaten Path”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Some locals we met at the beach recommended this restaurant to us. Very rustic and off the beaten path. The menu had a good variety for adults, teens and children alike. We enjoyed appetizers and a variety of different pasta dishes, and pizza's. They only have one dessert, but its to die for, hand made crepes in a caramel sauce they make at the table for you. Great prices and great food, friendly service, we will definetly come again.
