The Coral Princess staff was wonderful. They were very attentive and well educated on things to do and places to go. There was always someone at the entrance of the hotel and I never felt unsafe while visiting Cozumel. The view was amazing and the snorkeling around the hotel was great. The food in the hotel was average, but the staff was again very attentive. The cleaning staff was wonderful and very through. My only negative experience was the pillows were terribly uncomfortable!

The Coral Princess in Cozumel provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff was attentive, not intrusive. Our 1 bedroom suite with kitchen provided the perfect hideaway for friends to catch-up while enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean and Yucatan Peninsula. The pool(s) and pool bar along with instant access to the ocean for snorkeling was an ideal setting. Peaceful, yet fun! Close to the downtown district for shopping, eating, nightlife and people watching.

We traded our timeshare week for a week at Coral Princess and paid the hotel a minimal amount to upgrade to a large suite with ocean view. The suite was quite large with full kitchen, dining area that seated 6, living room with tv, large bedroom with king bed and tv and nice marble bathroom with sink in dressing area. There was a large balcony off the living room with table and chairs for eating outside and 2 chaise lounge chairs. There was also a smaller balcony off the bedroom. The 2 pools were sparkling clean with beautiful aqua irridescent tiles. Lots of people snorkling all through the day in the beautiful aqua ocean water. It was fun watching all the cruise ships and party boats sailing in and out each day and you couldn't ask for a more gorgeous sunset each evening. The food was good and very reasonably priced. We had a beef taco plate with refried beans, guacomole, chips and salsa for a little more than $5. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and extremely helpful during our 7 night stay. We'd definitely stay there again.

I have been staying at the Coral Princess for many years. The staff is friendly and caring, the accommodations are outstanding and the view is to die for. You can snorkel right off of the property and see the most beautiful fish and coral. There is a great dive shop on the primises. It is very family friendly and the entire island is extremely safe and fun. If you want a wonderful treat, go to the Coral Princess and enjoy Cozumel.

We stayed at the Coral Princess the week of June 13th and had a wonderful time. We have stayed at the Coral Pricess several times over the past 12 years and we will definitly be back. I admit the Coral Princess is not for everyone ..or it may be just what you are looking for. The resort is small and intimate, very casual, quiet and not overly luxurious. The resort is a favorite of divers (not sure if it is because Pepe's Scuba is on site) so during the day it is very calm around the pool. As the dive boats return for the evening the activity at the pool/bar is more lively.. The calmness was not really a bad thing for us becuase we were traveling with a 1 year old and a 3 year old. Many times we were the only ones in the pool through out the day which was nice since my kids are splashers and kind of loud. If you are looking for a resort with daily planned activites or party atmosphere.. this is not the place for you. Also, several resorts we have stayed at in Cancun seem to become more formal at night.. meaning people dress up for dinner... this does not occur at the Coral Princess. The resort is casual and if we stayed in we wore shorts etc, if we went to town for dinner (which we did mostly) we dressed up.
The Coral Princess has a wonderful area to snorkle right off of the resort. We snorkled every single day with minimal effort since it is right there. The resort does have a sand area where our kids played but like many resorts in Cozumel it does not have a "beach".

The staff is wonderful and is one of the main reasons we continue to come back. I do agree with one of the other reviews where they stated the lady at the front desk was kind of fiesty but overall she was kind and helpful to us.
Over the years the food has improved at the resort and we were very happy with the Sunday buffet and lunch/dinner menus. We ordered room service one night and while the options were limited we were still happy.
The resort has been renovated in past few years and the improvements are definitly noticable. I do wish they would focus a little on the furniture in the rooms, it needs updating. Although, my father in law stayed in the pent house the same week and furnishings/bathrooms were really really nice...

As I mentioned we will definitly return to the Coral Princess, it feels like coming home.
