Just back from the Coral Princess and we found this hotel to be very clean and quiet. Keep in mind it was low season. We booked a one bedroom and two ocean view rooms. All three rooms very great. Always very clean with plenty of towels. As we had read in previous reviews the staff is great ,always there for a drink or just a joke . I found the hotel to be very nicely furnished a little Euoropean. The food was always good and we had know complaints about that. We did think they could put a little more alcohol in the drinks though. We went to cozumel to do some scuba diving and we used Eco dive again and as always very professional with a great team. Expect to pay 3-$5 for two people for a taxi to the ferry terminal one way. We walked into town several times and it will take about 30-40 mins. depending on your stride. BRING bug spray sun down and the bugs come out. Would stay at he corall princess again.

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms with two double beds. The closet doors would not open fully due to the beds. The AC worked well until the last night. The hotel tried to fix it when we called at 3:00 AM, but the unit required replacement. They did knock off $20 from the bill. The free wi-fi was pretty slow when it did work, which was only two of the five days we were there. The food in the restaurant was just ok. There are many really good restaurants in town, which is a $3 to $5 taxi ride, depending on if you ask the driver the cost before getting in. The staff were friendly and the water in the pools was warm. There is access to the ocean with a swim step. There are fish and eels close by, but most of the diving is less than 10' deep. It was good for checking out equipment. The hotel bar has a pool table and friendly bartenders. I would consider staying again, but would probably try another hotel next time.

A general comment for all people arriving in Cozumel by air: ignore the travel information desks at the exit and go directly to the Taxi booth. You have to pay for a taxi at the booth. If you go to the travel information desks, they will try to get you to buy a timeshare.

We stayed at the Coral Princess for 4 nights in August. We loved this hotel. I paid the extra for an ocean view room. It was amazing. You could lay on your bed and look at the ocean all day if you wanted to. The staff were extremely friendly in every area of the hotel from front desk to the restaurant and everywhere inbetween. The rooms are spotless! We dove with Pepe's, the dive shop at the hotel and it was also great. Small, friendly groups for diving. We would certainly return again to this hotel anytime we were on Cozumel and would recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely hotel in Cozumel.

For my 6th trip to Cozumel, I chose this hotel. First because of the warm greeting I've have seen their guests recieved (while on a shuttle from the aiport on previous trips), second for the location, and third for the reviews on Trip Advisor.

After staying at 3 different hotels in Cozumel, El Cozumeleno (AI), Sol Cabanas del Caribe (closed since WIlma), and the Vista Del Mar, the Coral Princess met everyone of my expectations. The staff were very warm and friendly, many remembered our names after one introduction.

Our room was very clean. We had two double beds in our room which made it a little tight, however the storage space was plentiful. The bathroom was very large and we never had a problem with shower pressure or hot water. The oceanview room was definitely worth the extra money. From the 8th floor the view is absolutely breathtaking. We could look down and see the fish in the water.

The weather wasn't exactly cooperating while we were there (Hello Dolly!) so we didn't really get to snorkel that much off their "beach", but it appeared to be great.

We did have breakfast in the restuarant as that was included with our hotel booking, it the typical breakfast fare: eggs, pancakes, waffles, toast, sausage, bacon, pastries, etc. We had dinner one evening from the restuarant due to the town being placed on a curfew while were there due to the storm. It was okay, but I would have preferred dinner from town instead.

I will return to this hotel at some point, just depends on the type vacation I'm seeking. It's definitely on the top of my list.
