“A great vacation!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

We really enjoyed our week here! We were upgraded to an ocean view suite on the sixth floor that had an amazing view...beautiful sunsets! The staff are always greeting guests with a genuine smile. There is a nice variety of food at the buffet...that changes daily. I would have rated this hotel excellent if not for the Italian restaurant...which was disappointing. The eggplant parmesan lacked tomato sauce, the gnocchi were not very good and the risotto Milanese did not seem to have any saffron in it. It may seem that I am being picky but we are of Italian origin and know what these dishes should taste like. This is the only negative thing I can say about this place and I am sure that a lot of people would enjoy the Italian restaurant.

This hotel was lovely. The restaurants were of great quality for the most part. We were there in March and there were few families staying there. The population was mainly older couples. We were able to rent a car to see the rest of this beautiful island. The location was quiet and quite pretty but a bit isolated if you are looking for downtown nightlife.

From the time we arrive to our departure this was an amazing stay. The hotel is newly renovated and the rooms, detail and concept are all great. The lobby is open air and welcoming and the hotel maintenance is excellent. We traveled with our immediate family and extended family and the graciousness and welcoming of the staff was top notch. The service is outstanding and we will absolutely return to this Hotel.

The activities employees are amazing and they certainly made our trip extremely entertaining and memorable. A great stay, and we made great memories. Thank you Fiesta for an amazing time!

My husband and I and our teenager spent her spring vacation here. We had a water view Master Suite, which was really like two rooms -- there was even a door in between. From the photos on the web, it looked like the suite was small, and the measurement was given as 344 sq. feet. Actually, the rooms were very large. The bedroom had room in it for a small sofa. There was a comfortable pullout double bed. The living room had a balcony with two comfortable chairs and a table. Outside the bedroom was a large balcony with a bench, a hammock, and a jacuzzi. There were two bathrooms. Our shower was the best I've ever been in -- very large and with a frosted window to the outside so that there was natural light.
The grounds themselves were very pleasant. There was the requisite free-form pool, and a lap pool down by the beach. The lounges by the large pool tended to fill up, but there was always room to sit at the beach. There were even some beds there.
Entry to the water was via a small rocky beach, or by steps. I preferred the steps. You could snorkel right off the property -- the snorkelling was OK, but not as good as at Chankanab park, about 3/4 mile away and easily walkable.
Breakfast was a buffet near the beach. There were numerous choices and they changed every day. I really like the breakfast buffet. For lunch there were three possibilities: another buffet, also excellent, a grill by the pool, and the "cevicheria". At the latter, they served amazing fish tacos. There are three restaurants for dinner: Asian, Mexican, and Italian. We all like the Asian restaurant. The Mexican was pretty good, the Italian, not so much. In general, the food was great. The mixed drinks, however, were weak -- the wine was OK.
We spent a morning shopping in town. There were a huge number of shops that sold things of little interest -- interspersed among them were a few shops with high quality goods. I bought a beautiful cotton blouse with hand embroidery.
All in all, this was a wonderful trip, and I would like to go back.

The restaurants were excellent, especially the Asian one. The buffet was also very good and had a great variety of items. Also our favorite bartender Gustave at the buffet bar - wonderful person. My husband and I had an excellent, relaxing vacation here in February. It was exactly what we were looking for after a stressful past 9 months. The only downfall was the amount of snorkeling equipment available. Also out of bikes one day.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better view of the ocean

My husband and I just returned from a very relaxing 5 nights stay. The resort is beautiful! The entire staff is extremely friendly and attentive! The foods is delicious and plentiful! We extremely appreciated not ever waiting for a beach or pool chair or umbrella, or not waiting more than 5 minutes for a table at the restaurants...no reservations needed. Having snorkeling equipment and bicycles available to use gratis at the resort was a treat! Great free wifi! A "shout out" to Carlos Ochoa for being extra attentive during our stay! We highly recommend this resort!

Vacationed with my 2 teenage children during March'15. The hotel is practically brand new because of the renovations.I wasn't sure what I should expect because it wasn't directly on the beach and I had heard that they had a small beach etc. I was a 100 % joyfully surprised. This Hotel is so beautifully laid out. All the buffet and the snacks all day long are at the beach area. You never have to wait for anything and the best thing about this resort is the STAFF.. They are polite, helpful, courteous and it feels like they are always eager to make drinks and accomodations for you. The lobby area has the pool and an amazing thing!!! The Coffeeshop with an expresso machine and desserts.
Another great thing about this place was that you didn't have to make reservations in their restaurants.. you just went and they found you seats. The Asian restaurant is very good but the Italian rocks!
They did a lot of things right.. It seemed that they wanted you to enjoy the all-inclusive privilege. They weren't holding back.
The free wi-fi was a huge thing too.
The snorkling at the beach was amazing . The kids spent hours there.
They had a travel agency in the lobby that was also very good and organised a couple of tours for us that went well.
My kids and I were sad to leave. If i went back to cozumel, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
