My husband and I just returned from 3 nights at Cozumel Palace, our room was located on the fifth floor and offered a stunning view. Overall, the resort was very nice and the recent renovation must have been very much needed because we did notice a few "rough edges" in the common areas that could have been easily corrected but obviously have not yet been addresed. Our room was exactly as described on the website and the view was spectacular. The pool area was very nice and bar service was good, we especially enjoyed the lobby bar entertainment in the evenings. The food was average but service was somewhat slow, although we do find it very easy to be forgiving while in Mexico because things just move at a different pace. The staff was very helpful, gracious and eager to please. The in-room bar facility and fridge was always stocked and housekeeping did a nice job on our room each day. Checking in and out was very efficient. While the resort does not have a true beach area, we found the infinity pool and chaise lounge area to be exceptionally lovely and relaxing, great snorkeling as well. We will return to Cozumel Palace and overall, I would recommend the resort if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.
