Our room, the resort lobby and the pool area were top rate. Every employee we encountered provided "world class" service, especially Miguel, Carlos and "Super"
Mario. The food was great, especially the Asian and Mexican restaurants. We also enjoyed dining outdoors. We definitely recommend the Cozumel Palace to anyone interested.

We stayed at the Cozumel Palace from June 28th to July 6th. The food was very good even for our 5 year old and 16 year old. Room Service was awesome, they came daily with the hamburger, french fries & chocolate cake. The service is superior, everyone is friendly and willing to make your vacation the best ever. We walked to town a couple of times, enjoyed the nightly shows, the swim up bar and the view ! We would go back in a heartbeat.

The ammenities were fantastic, the service exceeded my expectations of an all-inclusive. My wife and I picked this after serveral reviews and location convenience and was not disappointed. Close to town(couple of blocks), outstanding dive shop on location(although we heard Palace Resorts was booting Aqua Safari for 1 company for all their resorts-BIG MISTAKE PALACE). Aqua Safari was top notch and the dive master knowing my wife was new at diving, held my wifes hand through the whole first dive! We hope Palace Resorts keeps them as this is the only dive operator we would use on return! As for the food, outstanding also. I read a few reviews where they commented the food was "average". These must be hard to please people because we found it great. The Mexican and Asian were great as were the buffet by the pool with great variety. Now to the entertainment. The international dance show and the fire show were also entertaining. They even have a few staff that entertains the kids in the pool all day. My wife commented several times how she didnt realize how family oriented the resort was. If an all-inclusive dive resort gets any better than this I would be suprised.

Cozumel Palace is one of the most beautiful destinations we've visited. It is immaculate, the food is superb in each of the four restaurants. The staff is so incredibley accomodating that you just couldn't want for anything.
This Palace Resort as the rest of them is an all enclusive, which may I say, the ONLY way to go these days.
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is gourgeous and you can look right to the ocean while in the pool. There is incredible snorkeling just off the front of the property which is assesible by numerous ladders and off piers that are steps away from the pool area.
Five Star, hands down!! Walking distance from down town, nightly entertainment, top shelf drinks and lots of tours available to choose from snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming with the dolphins, visits to Ancient Mayan Ruins and much much more.
Wheather or not you are a couple or are bringing your family, Cozumel Palace is one resort that has it all and does it right. We have traveled their three times and will return again and again.

We are frequent visitors to the palace resorts (members), and wanted to add the Cozumel Palace to our list of destinations. Rather than getting into specifics already covered in past reviews, I will just say that the Cozumel Palace was generally on a par with our other palace resort experiences - great food, great service, and great people. The hotel is small compared to other palace properties, but that is to our liking since we get a chance to know the staff. I also targeted this hotel since we have never gone to the area in the summer, and expecting high heat I wanted easy access to ocean swimming to cool off (but temps were not much worse than our Nov and April trips). Although the hotel lacks a sandy beach (aside from the man-made areas on north/south ends), the ability to quickly get into the relatively calm ocean to swim or snorkel was a bonus as it’s just steps from the pool.

Here are a few nit picks on the resort. The restaurants seemed somewhat drab in décor and very noisy with the sound bouncing off the walls. Although we thought the food was very good, one exception for me was the fish. Since we seem to overeat way too much on these trips, I often order the fish entree for dinner as an attempt at a lighter meal. I have to say that I did not like a single fish dish this trip, which I tried at the outside grill, the Italian, and the Mexican restaurant. This is contrary to our other palace resort trips. The other dishes were good to excellent. Finding a shaded spot by the pool was not easy if you arrived mid morning, however, the sand patches on the north and south ends always had some chairs under the straw huts available (but service was a bit lacking on the sand). Finally, being on an island the included tour options were pretty skimpy compared to the mainland, and we could not easily day trip to the other palace resorts. That’s ok as the rest of the family doesn’t like to run around as much as I do.

We had a room on the far south end of the hotel which, other than the long walk to get to it, was decent as we overlooked the sand patch and ocean, rather than the pool. Also, I don’t think we were as susceptible to hallway noise with less traffic. We did the included Chankanaab park tour, the included snorkel boat tour from the hotel, and took the included transportation to Mr. Sanchos’s Beach club to do a snorkel boat trip (nothing but taxi fare included for Mr. Sancho’s – ok beach to hang out on, & lots of other activities available to buy). We also did the customary loop drive around the island, and spent a few hours at Punta Sur on another day. Overall, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed the Cozumel Palace and the island of Cozumel in general. I plan on posting a hotel property snorkel video one of these days.
