“THE BEST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

this place is like something out of gilligans island. you enter the place by walking over this little wooden bridge. you enter the dining area and its like steping back in time. the lobsters will be on your right hand side and you get to pick the one you like. the owner comes out and weights it for you then gives you the price.you then sit down and as we waited ti be served, local musicians enterain you as we took it all in. the lobster diner was the best we ever had ! good serveing of rice, and the best carrots i ever had. total cost for my wife and i 65 u.s...well worth it , i can t wait to go back next year! oh one other thing if you are staying at the el coz, its about 900 ft south of the hotel. on the left hand side BUT ! its the second place you will see going south on the right hand side, enjoy

“Crazy fun ambiance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Dined at the lobster house last night the place reminds me of Mai Kai in Ft Lauderdale.....on a smaller scale and without the show. Just loved the surroundings all candle lit and rustic charm you just can't make up. Dinner was grand the lobster was perfectly cooked and the included vegetables were yummy.
We so wanted to try the key lime pie everyone raves about too but as they take cash only we were down to our last pesos. The lobster did cost a bit more than I expected. We each had the equivalent to 13 oz tails and we were charged $40 for each .....comes out to about $50 per pound!
So as a previous reviewer stated a bit Spendy....

“YUMMY! The Lobster House aka La Cabanas del Pescador *****”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Last night was our first visit to this wonderful restaurant. We had to try it after reading all the good reviews and it did not disappoint us. There was a very nice selection of freshly caught local lobster tails to choose from. We went there thinking that we would split a large tail between the two of us but we ended each getting a small tail because they were the perfect size. We wanted to make sure we saved room for the excellent Key Lime Pie. I'm the lobster lover so I knew it was perfectly prepared. My husband has never been crazy about lobster but this was so good that he actually said "This could make me a lobster eater". I think we'll be back to this place again.

Make sure you bring cash - they don't accept credit cards.

“The Lobster House Cozumel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

Dined at the Lobster House our last night in Cozumel. I have to say it was lovely. My hubby and I shared a lobster tail, shrimp with bacon as an appetizer. The food is fresh and cooked while you wait. The restaurant has a charm of its own. It is the essence of a family owned and operated island restaurant with its multi colour dinner ware, hanging fish nets and wooden tables. The prices are average but not cheap. Our bill was approx $88.00 which included a large lobster tail that we shared, jumbo margarita, rum and coke and of course their famous key lime pie and coffee. The key lime pie is an absolute must – we were stuffed but ate every last crumb as is so good!! Our server was attentive and friendly. We would definitely go back. Note: do not be fooled it is not the Lobster Grill it is the LOBSTER HOUSE with the little bridge you cross over to get inside.
