“Excellent Waterfront Dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2009

The food, location, experience, and service were all excellent. The location is a good distance from the busy square, so the dining experience is perfect. We Highly Recommend Guidos!

“SOOOO glad we stopped here for lunch!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2009

My husband and I stopped by Guidos for lunch on the last day of our trip. We had planned to go for dinner one evening, but were forced to do an all-inclusive at our hotel, which we weren't planning on. After eating at the hotel about half the time during the week, we were SICK of the very mediocre food. Were were about to head back to the hotel after some morning massages with Sally at Barefoot in Cozumel (highly reccomend!) and decided to change plans and grab a bite to eat at Guidos. Boy were we glad we did!!!! We sat out on patio, enjoyed a bottle of wine, and had a delicious & relaxing lunch. We stared with some delicious flat bread and a fish & avocado salad, which was wonderful. We then shared a pizza, which was some of the best pizza I've had. The service was excellent and they did not rush us. We kind of felt like we were in Italy enjoying a nice leisurely lunch! I dare say that if we'd eaten at Guidos at the beginning of our trip we may have gone back every day! Definitely give it a try!

“Very solid dining option”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2009

Stopped in here our first night in Cozumel (it's wasn't open on Sunday) and enjoyed a lovely meal in a great courtyard setting. My girlfriend opted for the margherita pizza and enjoyed it very much. In fact we're convinced it cured her upset tummy. :) I went with the neapolitan (?) pizza which had anchovies, grossing her out completely but I loved it. The sangrias were an excellent choice. We'd definitely visit Guido's again.

“Fish cakes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2008

The fish cake in curry sauce appetizer is amazing. Tuna pizza was also great. The shrimp entree was generous, but the pasta underneath it was bland. Overall excellent. Even if the back patio doesn't strike you at first, after you sit there for a bit you'll start to feel the happy.

“I could eat here every night!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2008

I just got back from a week long trip to Cozumel. I NEVER go there without including a stop at Guido's and was thrilled to see that it has not changed. As other reviewers have stated, you should go thru the restaurant to get to the courtyard. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal away from the noise of the main road. It doesn't matter what you order, it's all excellent and the service is great. Do not miss the garlic bread! It is unbelieveable!!!
