“Good but not Great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2012

We found La Cocay while driving around Cozumel, looking for good restaurants that were not too "touristy". We drove by, it was on a side street away from the crowds on the main harbor road, looked in, it had a nice crowd so we went in to eat. The hostess was nice and friendly but the service was lacking. Took too long to get water and drinks and the waiter never told us about the specials (even though they had a board of a few in front). Food was good but not special, rather bland compared to the spices of previous meals. OK palce but not great.

“Always a wonderful meal here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2012

We've gone to La Cocay on every trip to Cozumel. It's a must. Perfection is their prime focus. Their steaks, salads, and especially desserts are fabulous. It's a "don't miss" while on Coz.

“Delicious & authentic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2012

Great value and great service!

I'm a vegetarian and found it tough to find good vegetarian options at a lot of Mexican restaurants. Lucky for me, this place had a delicious dish - vegetable skewer with Rice and guacamole. When I did find vegetarian dishes in Mexico it was also rare to get a dish with a varied amount of veggies. Thankfully, here, I got broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, and more.

The avocado pie was to die for! Very generous slice as well.
