“We can be found here first evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

Always a tradition to come here first evening (like past 15 years). It's easy to get to, and we don't even have to look at the menu. It's roomier and cooler than the old place around the corner. Soup comes with the meal. For us, best fajitas on the island. Fried, or grilled, whole snapper is generally very good, unless it's overdone, in which case it's a lot of work to get under the skin.

“OK; Nothing Special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

Service quick and friendly, but I've had much better Mexican food in the Global Market or Ala Salsa in Minneapolis at about the same price. Good hot queso with the chips; forget about the house specialty "Pork Stew," the name itself is already an indication of catering to US Tex-Mex tastes. Dos Equis was 35 pesos; about right. I wouldn't go back -- too many other places to try.

“Good Food at a Good Price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014 via mobile

Nothing pretentious here just good food at a good price. I recommend the fresh fish dishes. We have sampled a variety over the past few years p and they were all very nicely prepared. The restaurant is bright

“Authentic Food, Don't Miss”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

This restaurant was recommended to us by a couple of local friends, and we were not disappointed. We asked to eat somewhere that captured the local flavor and this was definitely it. We had the guacamole, which was well-done. They started us off with a bean soup, which was not too heavy and tasted fantastic. I had the chicken mole and loved it. The flavors were spot on, rich with many layers and a touch of bitter chocolate (in a good way!) left on the tongue. For the amount and quality of food you get, the prices were considerably cheap. Definitely put this one on your list.
