“A wonder of the world you need to see”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

A friend told me when we were going to Mexico that, "You can't be that close to a Wonder of the World and not go see it" she was totally right. What an amazing sight. It is absolutely fascinating to tour these ruins and learn about the Mayan culture. We visited in June and it was HOT!! Make sure to bring water, suscreen and a hat. You'll need it!!

“Very interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

It would have been great to have walked up to the top, but I can totally understand why you can't do that. The structure itself is mind blowing. it's history and complex construction is equally as fascinating. From the mighty steps guarded by stone snakes to the echoes of hands clapping from precise points makes this structure both interactive and dominating. Go and see it!

what a beautiful sight to see as you come off the trail leading up to the ruins. I could not believe how large the pyramid really is, just amazing to see.

“amazing history and architecture in Mexico”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

I am glad that no one is allowed to climb to the top of the largest temple because there were several deaths and it scared me to death up there with my 7 year old going up without my permission..
all in all, the place is unbelievable, just seeing it without climbing, wondering how it was built and how many died up there , the builders and the sacrifices.
When I was there the road was a toll road that was wonderful and uncrowded. a must see
