Dangerous, Dangerous No lighting between buses and pathway down to Cenote
the Cenote was impressive but there are many, many Cenotes in Mexico - not exceptional

“Water filled sink hole - Tourist trap”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

A sink hole filled with water and alot of swimmers. The place caters to the large tour buses and has a restaurant which is OK (large long tables in a row to hold large groups) It is a simple buffet.

“Cenote Visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

A stop at the cenote was part of our tour excursion. Facilities are available to change into baithing suits. I did not go swimming but did find the stop interesting to see and walk into a cenote.

“Amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Go, seriously, if you are in the area then go!!! The cenote is simply beautiful - it's deep underground and inside is a cavern filled with catfish infested crystal waters! The catfish are harmless though. You can take a dip ... don't miss it, if you are visiting Chichen Itza then visit the Cenote.
