Beautiful resort and great service from the staff. The rooms have high standard and the view from the balcony is wonderful. The breakfast on Spice was really good, Rapheal made the glases look like new and was really funny.

This was our 5th trip to Mexico and our 1st at The Royal and I will be back. This was the best place I have experienced in all my trips. The food was fabulous. We had the best experience at the El Mediterraneo. The wait staff was wonderful, We had Cruz, Richie, and Chief Ali. They all greeted us each morning for breakfast. Treated us very special they fixed us a special breakfast very morning. Made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. The bar staff was awesome also. We had a great trip. Every thing about this resort was top notch.

I'm so excited ... I'm going back to The Royal next Saturday. SO looking forward to this wonderful trip and seeing Ligia, Eloisa, Wendy, Guadaloupe, Luis, Daniel ... wonderful servers, beautiful resort!

The rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable beds, excellent room service for the late night munchies, the water color is incredible -- and I do mean incredible! -- it looks fake. The color is bright aqua.

I've gone four years now with my best friend ... we've tried other places but The Royal is our favorite. We're very picky, and want to be pampered for this one week per year. The spa is beautiful and we go there daily, for a dip in the hot tub and sauna.

A friend and I visited for 4 nights after doing a two week tour of Mexico, and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. We visited during mid Jan 13 and the weather was great. The beach is beautiful, albeit a little choppy, but the pool is my preference, long and windy and not too full (although youll have to wake up super early to get a good deck chair).
The rooms are beautiful. They have that classy Spanish, White brown and blue colour scheme throughout the hotel. The rooms have canopy beds with netting above and theres even a spa bath in the corner of your room. My favourite though is the extra wash basin on the outside of the bathroom, so you can get ready without bothering your travel partner.
The staff are all very friendly, and there is always something to do. Shows are on every night, music at the pool, beach parties, tequila tasting, aqua aerobics etc. The food is quite good, and there are plenty of options. Its amazing how much trouble they go to everyday setting up the activities. It really is a professional set up. The location is great, and a short bus/taxi ride to the night life. The guests are very nice too. No one noisy and/or obnoxious.
Trust me, you definitely wont regret staying here. Theres really no need to leave the resort once you arrive.You might even feel special by the end of it.
