We (group of 7 lads) were in cancun for 2 weeks holiday (09/08 - 23/08) and we visited Congo Bar 7 times in total. It was by far the best place in Cancun to go to. The atmosphere was electric every night we were in there. As soon as we entered and paid our $20 a waiter would grab us a table for waiter service. There was only 1 night the service was a bit poor and we were waiting for drinks, every other night the drinks would be stacking up on the table. Everyone was so friendly and made you feel welcome. Even though it looks quite small from the outside it can still pack in a good amount of people. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cancun and looking for an amazing night out.

I know when i go back to Cancun i will be visiting Congo Bar alot more!!

Myself and 3 other girlfriends of mine partied at Congo Bar during Spring Break in February of 2008. I loved how this bar's layout was so open and airy; you didn't feel as though you were in a closed-in nightclub! The bar staff kept you entertained with dancing and pictures. The daquiri's were the best we've ever had!! One of the bar employees got my girlfriends and I up on a table to shake our stuff infront of the whole bar! The bartender made us a bunch of shots (on the house) for doing so! haha! It was AWESOME!

the staff we're awesome, instead of them feeling it was the customer's privilege to come to their bar, it was their privilege to have you... Loved it!!!

Awesome!!!! Went here 3 times in one week and this is my third time in Cancun and I would never leave Cancun without visiting this place!... $15.00 bucks gets you the service you want... and give these guys $10.00 bucks extra and you get even more... they will find you all the way on stage.. and freaking great music too!
